STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER

The Student Success Centers provide an educational setting and safe haven for referred students (ages 11 and older)

exhibiting Level III-IV behavior and (with Region approval) habitual Level II infractions of the Code of Student

Conduct.

The Student Success Centers provide a setting staffed by teachers, counselors, and other service providers. Each

center is outfitted with computers and positive, print-rich posters. Students will be supervised and will receive

academic support to ensure that school assignments are completed.

Over 250 transportation bus stops for referred students;

A new attendance code in our system that reflects student attendance at one of the Student Success

Centers;

One Stop Educational and Community Service Center to provide families in need with wraparound services;

Student Success Center Designee at all school sites with the responsibility of following up with referred

students, academic coursework completion, attendance monitoring, and daily communication with

Student Success Center Site Coordinators;

Supplemental uniform curriculum framework aligned with the FSA standards in coordination with the

Office of Academics and Transformation;

Additional 6 Student Success Coach positions allocated to ensure a Success Coach is provided at each

site throughout the day; and

A uniform system for parental involvement which includes intake and exit surveys as well as the

dissemination of parent/guardian letters.
