Looking Up Data from Worksheets Using INDIRECT

In Figure 1, cell E6 contains the formula =INDIRECT(D6). This tells Excel to find a valid cell reference in cell D6 and return the value found in the referenced cell. In this case, Excel finds the reference “A1” in cell D6,so it returns the value from cell A1,which is 13. If you typed “A3” into D6, the formula in cell E6 would return 87. ................
