Beatitudes

For it is our spirit that lives on forever and this world and our flesh will fade away. If we keep this in mind, we will see how unimportant it really is to have material goods that count as nothing in the next life. St. John of the Cross developed the idea of “nada” - “nothing” - and this is what we must become to be poor in spirit. ................
