Dual Enrollment (DE) Checklist for 2020 – 2021Dual Enrollment (DE) gives high school students the opportunity earn college credits. The student is concurrently enrolled at a nearby college while maintaining enrollment at RHS. This means that s/he can earn college credits and the high school credits needed for graduation.It is the student’s responsibility to research which public, private, or technical college s/he wants to attend. A listing of approved colleges and classes can be found in The Dual Enrollment Approved Course Directory Georgia Tech math (Beyond AP Calculus BC) is the only Dual Enrollment course offered at Roswell and it is a year-long commitment. Once completed, the student will make a counselor appointment to finalize the selected course information and to submit the Fulton County DE Contract to your Dual Enrollment TEAMS.Step 7:? Complete the Online Dual Enrollment Funding Application . Be sure to select the correct college and to select Roswell High School as the High School.Step 8:?Check emails frequently for communications from the college regarding application status, registration, orientation, and procedure to make advisement appointments to register for college courses.Step 9:?Upload copy of your schedule to your Dual Enrollment TEAMS. The counselor will then make the necessary changes to your high school schedule and approve in GaFutures /STARS for funding. If your college course schedule is not received by December 15th/August 1st, you will be scheduled for face-to-face classes at Roswell. Any changes to your schedule MUST FIRST BE APPROVED by your Roswell Counselor.Step 10:?Enrolled students must repeat Steps 5 – 9 each semester by the published college deadlines.*** Any student wanting to apply for Dual Enrollment in the Spring or plan to add or change spring courses must do so by November 1st. ................
