WOMEN’S FIT GUIDE WOMEN’S TOPS

WOMEN'S FIT GUIDE

Six steps to a perfect fit.

1. Read through this fit guide once or twice before starting. 2. Measure even if you think you already know your size. 3. For accurate measurement, ask a friend to measure you. 4. Remove heavy or bulky layers. 5. Measure as close to body as possible (pull the tape measure tight). 6. If you have to measure over your clothes, subtract 1" from your chest, waist and hip measurements.

WOMEN'S PANTS

Measuring is the key to a great fit.

WAIST Remove your belt and bend to your side. Where your body curves is your natural waist. Measure here even if you wear your pants lower. (Subtract 1" if you're measuring over clothes.) Circle your size in the chart.

WAIST HIPS

HEIGHT

HIPS Stand with your feet shoulder width apart. Measure the fullest part of your hip/thigh area. (Subtract 1" if you're measuring over clothes.) Circle your size on the chart.

INSEAM Start at the crotch and measure down the inside leg seam of your pants to the hem. Or measure a pair of pants you already own from the crotch seam to the bottom of the pants, along the inside leg seam. Write it down.

INSEAM

Lands' End numeric sizing is similar to the apparel market. Please use the size you typically purchase as a guide.

Q. How does my fit preference impact what size I purchase? A. The uniform program pants are designed to fit with some ease over the body. If you prefer an extremely slim fit through the hip,

you may need to order down one size based on your hip measurement. If you prefer a roomy fit through the hip, you may need to order up one size based on your hip measurement.

Q. What if my waist size is one or more sizes bigger than my hip size? A. Select a straight fit pant and order the size based on your hip measurement. If you prefer a pant that is loose or with more ease, you

may size up one size.

Q. What if my hip size is two or more sizes bigger than my waist size? A. Select a curvy fit pant and order the size based on your hip measurement. If you prefer a pant with a closer to the body fit, you may

want to size down one size.

WOMEN'S TOPS

Two easy measurements.

BUST

Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the

floor. (Subtract 1" if you're measuring over clothes.) Circle your size on the chart.

BUST

ARM Place hand on hip. Start at center-back of your neck, measure across the shoulder to the elbow and down to the wrist. Circle your size below.

HEIGHT

Keep it in proportion.

REGULAR is designed to fit an average woman 5'4"-5'7" tall. If your torso or arms are longer or shorter, check out the options below.

PETITE is proportioned smaller, scaled down in shoulder width. Body length decreases 1-1/2" and sleeve length decreases 1" from our Regular fit.

TALL accommodates long torsos. Body length increases 1-1/2" and sleeve length

increases 1" from our Regular fit.

ARM

PLUS is proportioned to flatter full-figured women of Regular torso and sleeve length. Compared to our Size 18, Size 18W is 2" larger in the bust, waist and hip. Arm girths are larger. Shoulder widths are shorter.

Women's Pants: Straight or Curvy.

Is there a 10 inch difference or more between your hip and waist measurement? If yes, look for curvy pants. If no, try straight pants. Choose curvy if pants tend to gap in back or fit tight on the thigh. Wear straight if pants tend to sag in back or the waist is too tight.

Key measurements for jackets and shirts.

Arm

ARM

to the elbow and down to the wrist. Circle your size on the chart.

Keep it in proportion.

Regular describes a well-proportioned body 5'8" ? 6'0" tall, with hips and chest of roughly equal girth.

Tall describes a body 6'1" ? 6'3" tall, with a long torso or sleeve length. Body length of shirts is 2" longer than Regular. Coat sleeve and body length is 1-1/2" longer.

Big describes a body of 5'8" -- 6'0" with a less athletic profile. Pockets and other details increase in size for a pleasing proportion.

Shirts: Regular or Tailored.

traditional Tailored
