Commentary
I learned this month that Belvidere North High School is opening a new high school and will offer Ag Ed, I have made contact with administration to help them design their program. I am constantly impressed by the chapter banquets that I attend; Section 7 teachers and students attend other chapters’ banquets as guests, and the community members seem to respect that. Enrollment data continues to arrive, and I hope we can continue to revise the process to make it more efficient. I am concerned that we won’t have enough candidates to fill our openings this year; I plan to do some out-of-state recruiting next year at Wisconsin and Indiana.
