Our 16-bed Inpatient Unit is supported by a Long-acting Injection Clinic and a Day Hospital. As well, our new Community Addiction and Mental Health Centre, that was completed in 2016, provides a range of services for all ages. It offers a robust roster of communitybased services, including Adult Mental Health, Addiction Services, Community Withdrawal Management, Geriatric Mental Health, First Episode Psychosis, Mental Health Crisis, Assertive Community Treatment, Children and Youth Mental Health Services.

Neurologist

The Cornwall Community Hospital provides a wide range of medical specialties, which include Anaesthesia, Dentistry, Emergency, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, General and Family Practice, Gynaecology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Urology as well as an excellent Radiology Service with Ultrasound, CT Scan and MRI.

As a Regional Stroke Center, the Cornwall Community Hospital provides leadership, development, implementation and coordination of stroke care throughout its region and across all points in the spectrum of stroke care. In additional to inpatient and outpatient consultation for the community, our neurologist will provide call coverage for our emergency department and inpatient services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to read the EEGs and EMGs done at CCH.

The hospital has a state-of-the-art Stroke Prevention Clinic where our neurologist can see patients with the full in-hospital support of nursing, record keeping, appointment booking and follow up/referral coordination.

Cornwall Hospital has a closed ICU model, where our neurologist would be able to participate in patient care and consultations.

Our neurology service is entitled to a well-funded HOCC (on call coverage) program, providing a daily stipend in addition to OHIP fee for service when on call.

The successful applicant holds a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification of Neurology and is eligible for independent medical licensure in the province of Ontario.

Full-Time FRCPC or GP Anesthesiologist

Cornwall Community Hospital is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our team of five full-time collegial Anesthesiologists, working in a supportive, relaxed, and varied setting. Additionally, the team has a full-time Anesthesia Assistant who greatly increases our operating room efficiency.

Cornwall Community Hospital is a 170-bed acute care hospital, providing surgical services in the specialties of Orthopedics, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Otolaryngology, Plastic Surgery, Endoscopy, Pediatric Dental Surgery, Urology, and Ophthalmology. Cornwall Community Hospital in Cornwall, Ontario is actively looking for a full-time paediatrician to join our team.

We are level 1 community hospital with a mixed pediatric/OB unit providing care to a catchment area of 90,000 people. Our team is composed of 4 paediatricians and 3 OB/GYN physicians. Each paediatrician has their own independent practice in the community and is expected to share hospital on-call duties. Hospital on-call paediatric coverage includes seeing healthy newborns, managing paediatric inpatients, seeing ER consults at the request of ER physicians as well as attendance at delivery if requested by our obstetrical colleagues.

Our department works closely with the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) whose specialist teams provide advice by phone as well as emergency transport for inpatients needing tertiary levels of care. CHEO is also our referral centre to help manage more complex patients.
