Purpose

Introduce ‘partitive’ nouns, e.g. a piece, a bit, a unit, etc. (the meaning - to split sth. abstract) Elicit more examples of ‘counting the uncountable’ from students until they understand it. E.g. 2 blades of grass, a stroke of luck/ lightning (a flash), a spell of weather, 3 loaves of bread, 5 … ................
