Students will work individually and in groups to write, shoot, and edit their own video projects. Sample student projects during the semester include PSA’s, commercials and news stories. Selected videos are screened during class throughout the semester to enhance the critique process. Students will work with the following software on desktop computers: Final Cut Pro. During RLI students can use their cellphones and any free editing apps: iMovie, Splice, Openshot or Filmora. Tardiness will not be tolerated and will affect the class participation grade. I understand the importance of the equipment and supplies and pledge to treat them with respect. Should I neglect, lose and/or abuse the materials, I will repair or replace them. I understand the importance of my being at staff meetings. For whatever reason, when absent, I will email the adviser to report my absence so alternate plans can be made to meet deadlines. I understand that if I misuse my press pass privileges, I will no longer be able to leave the classroom for assignments.>>Adviser As adviser, I understand that a staff member has other obligations and responsibilities.
