HISTORY The property opened July 2, 1973 as The Holiday Casino. It became Harrah’s Las Vegas in 1992.
OVERVIEW The fun place to play, Harrah’s Las Vegas, is located on the heart of the Las Vegas Strip on 17.3 acres of land. The hotel sits across the strip from Caesars Palace and adjacent to The Quad Resort & Casino.
CASINO More than 87,000-square-feet of classic casino space showcase the hottest slot machines, including the popular “Blazing Sevens,” million-dollar keno, blackjack, Caribbean stud poker and craps. Harrah’s caters to every player on every level, with 1,381 slot machines and 90 table games. The 24-hour live keno action takes place in the comfortable Keno Parlor. Keno can also be played in the 24-hour coffee shop and while relaxing in the hotel room. The poker room features ten poker tables.
SPORTS PIT Featuring high-definition screens at every turn, continuous betting action and a full-service bar and deli, the Sports Pit is a totally immersive experience. When the last big game is over, the venue becomes a sports-themed lounge allowing the fun to continue late into the night.
MEETING SPACE More than 25,000 square feet of flexible banquet and meeting space encompasses the Harrah’s conference space, designed to hold one large meeting of up to 1,300 people with 12 breakouts and an office, or a variety of small and medium sized meetings. Harrah’s specializes in servicing more intimate groups that require extra attention. All of the rooms are equipped with power outlets on the floor, drop down screens, full audio/visual and Internet services.

ENTERTAINMENT Piano Bar
Big Elvis
Big Elvis performs all the hits of the King of Rock & Roll, as well as other popular tunes in the genres of rock, country, gospel, R&B and pop spanning six decades of music. Big Elvis interacts with his audience, invites them to participate in his show and performs requests, including both popular and obscure songs. During his renditions of Elvis ballads, Big Elvis shows his warm heart and bares his soul to the extent that there is not a dry eye in the room. Big Elvis performs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 2, 3:30 and 5 p.m.
Cook E. Jarr
Cook E. Jarr’s show is a mixture of booming, booty-shaking music and
plentiful patter from the motor mouth musician, punctuated by the Cookster’s dog barks, imitation engine-revving (which comes in handy during “Born to Be Wild”) and other trademark sound effects. While Jarr sings along to pre-recorded tracks of funky hits old and new, red and blue lights resolve, police car style atop speakers pumping out a nonstop beat. A strobe light fires up at random intervals, while a mirrored disco ball twirls overhead. Cook E. Jarr performs Saturday and Sunday at 4 p.m.

Defending the Caveman
Defending the Caveman is the longest-running solo play in Broadway history and now a celebrated worldwide success. Caveman has won the hearts of millions across the globe. It’s "outrageously funny and surprisingly sweet exploration of the gender gap" (Chicago Sun-Times) has made Defending the Caveman "a comic phenomenon" (New York Times). Defending the Caveman performs nightly at 7 p.m., with additional 4 p.m. performances on Sunday and Monday.
Improv at Harrah’s
The Improv at Harrah’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino has been named “Best Comedy Club” in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s coveted “Best of Las Vegas” poll numerous times. Other Improv accolades include “Best Comedy Club” by Casino Player Magazine and “Best Comedy Club in Southern Nevada” by Nevada Magazine. The Improv is the longest-running comedy club in Las Vegas and the first standup comedy club ever created, with the opening of the first Improv in New York City in 1963. Shows are Tuesday through Sunday at 8:30 and 10 p.m.

Mac King
Named “Best Strip headliner” in the Las Vegas Weekly’s 2011 annual Vegas’ best awards, Mac King’s unique act contains an unusual combination of quirky humor, visual gags and astounding sleight of hand. King is known for his engaging personality and original magic creations, like making a live goldfish appear over an audience member’s head. Because of his quick wit and extensive audience interaction, no two shows are alike. King performs Tuesday through Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m.
Million Dollar Quartet
The Tony® Award Winning musical, Million Dollar Quartet is set on December 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together. Sam Phillips, the “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll” who was responsible for launching the careers of each superstar, brought the four legendary musicians together at the Sun Records storefront studio in Memphis for the first and only time. The resulting evening became known as one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll jam sessions in history. MDQ performs Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 7 p.m., and Monday and Thursday at 5:30 and 8 p.m.
NIGHTLIFE Carnival Court
Carnival Court is an outdoor festival-like environment, which offers premium tequilas, vodkas and favorite libations. The bar features world-renowned “flair bartenders” who go through a grueling audition prior to being hired, ensuring they are proficient at not only serving drinks and food, but also at singing, dancing, juggling bottles and breathing fire.

Piano extraordinaires battle it out for the best played piano music as judged by you, the audience. You won´t just "see" a show. You´ll feel like you´re part of the show!
DINING Café at Harrah’s

Celebrated chef Kerry Simon brings his one-of-a-kind concept to Harrah’s – KGB: Kerry’s Gourmet Burgers. In an upbeat atmosphere, Simon offers patrons the ultimate burger selection with his special flair. He serves up a menu of uniquely inventive burgers, signature snacks and sides including “Iron Chef” sliders, tater tots and sweet selections such as cotton candy and Captain Crunch milkshakes.
Flavors Buffet
Flavors Buffet is one of the most diverse buffets on the Strip featuring cuisines from around the world. Guests can feast on Brazilian barbeque, pizzas and Italian casseroles prepared in a wood-burning oven, fire-roasted rotisserie chicken, piping hot snow crab legs, traditional Southwestern dishes and tasty Asian selections including hand-rolled sushi, Maki Rolls and homemade wonton soup.
Oyster Bar
Seafood-lovers from around the world will appreciate the delicious assortment of fresh seafood that the Oyster Bar has to offer. POOL An olympic-size outdoor swimming pool provides the ultimate relaxation and recreation experience. Enjoy comfortable lounge chairs, poolside cocktails and meal service as well as a poolside café. Private luxurious cabanas are available for rent by the day and include a refrigerator, phone, TV, fruit basket, juice and water, a newspaper, towels, and a raft. The pool is open seasonally.
