This basic research assignment will be your first project grade for the Spring semester to get you started.For the first part of your report, give me the names of the classmates from this period with whom you want to form an investment team. As detailed in class, your team will consist of 3-5 students total who will work together on the simulated investment account. Although I may have to make some changes to balance teams, I will do my best to honor your request.Next, research and report on three different stocks offered on either the New York or NASDAQ stock exchanges. By the way, as your first exercise in cooperating with your teammates, none of you can duplicate any of your teammates’ choices. For each stock, I want to see the following information:? Company name? Ticker Symbol? Industry/segment? Closing stock price as of December 31, 2020? A brief description of the goods/services the company provides? Your estimate of what the price of the stock will be on April 15, 2021 (yes, that’s right, Tax Day)? A rational explanation (See? Verbs matter here, too!) of why you have chosen this stock and the reason behind the “why.” For example, if you just say “I expect the price to go up” you will not get points for that part of the assignment unless you adequately explain why you have that expectation.There are ten exceptions; you may not choose any of the following stocks for this report:?
