PROGRESS REPORTS: Progress Reports are due back signed by your parents by the end of day on Tuesday, September 24th; 5th and 6th grade students turn them in to your homeroom teacher; 7th and 8th grade students will turn them in to the office. JOB SHADOWING: Mrs. Flynn’s Career Orientation classes will be job shadowing today; please do not count the job shadowing student as being absent. FBLA: If you would like to run for an FBLA office see Mrs. Haney by the end of the day today. There will be an FBLA meeting Thursday at 12:10 in Mrs. Haney's room to elect FBLA officers.PEP RALLY: We will attend the pep rally at 11:10 on Friday; we will dismiss at 11:05. STUDENT COUNCIL: There will be a Student Council meeting on Monday at 2:30 in the auditorium.HEARING AND VISION SCREENINGS: All 6th and 8th grade students will have hearing and vision screenings on Wednesday, September 25th. VOLLEYBALL THIS WEEK: THURSDAY: The Jr. A, Sr. JV, and Sr. Varsity volleyball teams will play Mansfield at home on Thursday; 4:30.FOOTBALL GAMES THIS WEEK: THURSDAY: The 7th grade and Jr. High Football teams will play at Lamar on Thursday; game time is 5:30; FRIDAY: The Sr. High Football team play at Ozark on Friday, September 20th; game time is 7:00.HOMECOMING ASSEMBLY: Sr. High Homecoming will be on Friday, September 27th. We will attend the Homecoming Assembly at 1:00 at the high school auditorium. The 7th and 8th grade students will report to their 6th period class after the assembly; 5th and 6th grade students will report their homeroom class after the assembly. HOMECOMING PARADE: The Homecoming Parade will be held at 2:30 on Friday, September 27th. We will dismiss at 2:25 for the parade; 7th and 8th grade students will be dismissed from their 7th period class for the parade; 5th and 6th grade students will be dismissed from their homeroom classes. At the conclusion of the parade 5th and 6th grade students will report back to their homerooms and 7th and 8th grade students will report back to their 7th period class. Students that are involved with a group (ex. little league football and cheer) will need to be bring a note giving them permission to be checked out by the group sponsor to ride in the parade; notes are to be turned in to the office by the end of the day on Thursday, September 26th. Just a reminder that it is the parents’ responsibility to see that their child has a ride home from school in the event they do not make it back to school before the buses leave. Students wishing to check out after the parade must be checked out through the office by a parent or guardian. ................
