Any fees associated with shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.________This dog is guaranteed to be healthy. The buyer agrees to have the dog checked by a licensed Veterinarian to verify the health of the dog within three days of taking possession of the dog. The seller offers a five day health guarantee in which to return the dog should the Buyer’s Vet find anything seriously wrong with the dog. The buyer shall assume full responsibility for the health and safety of the dog during the guarantee period. Any claim of change in the condition of the dog must be communicated to the seller immediately. If the veterinarian finds any serious medical problems, the dog will be returned and a refund will be given. A letter from the examining Veterinarian referencing the puppy’s condition must be presented as evidence of the dog’s illness, the dog must be returned within the guarantee period in the same condition it was when the buyer took possession, and the AKC registration documents must be signed back over to the seller before any adjustment is made. ________ This dog has a health guarantee extending through the first year of life. Should this dog be diagnosed with a life threatening congenital defect within the first year of life, the dog will be replaced with a comparable dog as soon as one becomes available. The buyer must contact the seller within one week of the diagnosis being made, and a letter from the examining Veterinarian referencing the dog’s condition must be presented as evidence of the dog’s illness before any adjustment is made.________Careful screening of breeding stock has been done to ensure the structural soundness of this puppy. This puppy is warranted against hip Dysplasia until the age of two years and one month. Completion of the following conditions must be met for the warrantee to be valid. An OFA preliminary evaluation must be done between the ages of 7 and 8 months at the buyer’s expense, then the final OFA evaluation must be done between the ages of 24 and 25 months old at the buyer’s expense. An alternative for the hip evaluation only, is to have only one evaluation using PennHip, done at a minimum of 7 months old, again at the buyer’s expense. Should the PennHip evaluation be inconclusive, an OFA evaluation must be done at 24 to 25 months old. Copies of all test results must be forwarded to the seller within 30 days of receipt by the buyer. Should the puppy be a female who is close to her heat cycle during this period, the buyer is required to contact the seller to discuss a delay of the evaluation since evaluation during the heat cycle can adversely affect the OFA results. If this puppy is diagnosed with hip dysplasia, it will be replaced with a comparable puppy as soon as one becomes available. The buyer must contact the seller with written documentation of the dog’s condition. A copy of the OFA evaluation and x-rays must be given to the seller before any compensation is made. Return of the original puppy to the seller is at the sole discretion of the seller. Should the original dog be required to be returned, the AKC registration must be signed back over to the seller before any compensation is made. ________Elbow Dysplasia is a heritable developmental orthopedic disease that occurs in numerous large breed dogs. Symptoms of Elbow dysplasia occur when the puppy is fed a diet that stimulates an unhealthy rapid growth rate, and/or the puppy is denied adequate exercise for healthy development. While it is a hereditary condition, development of Elbow Dysplasia diseases are both caused and preventable and therefore not a warranted condition. Correct feeding instructions are attached to this contract. Should this puppy develop symptoms of Elbow Dysplasia and your Vet. has compelling documentation that the condition did not manifest as a result of an inappropriate diet or care, medical documentation should be provided to the seller for a third party evaluation. A comparable replacement puppy may be provided at the discretion of the seller when one becomes available.________The buyer accepts full responsibility for the proper care and health of the dog.________The buyer agrees to begin training of the dog in basic obedience and socializing the dog as soon as the dog is acquired. The buyer agrees to train the dog to be a polite companion which includes but is not limited to teaching the dog it may not jump on people and that it must walk quietly on a leash without excessive pulling and without the aid of a pinch collar or other restraintive devices. ________The buyer agrees to provide adequate fencing to ensure the safety of this dog and never allow this dog to roam free unsupervised or out of control.________Using the supplied AKC registration form, the buyer agrees to complete the AKC registration for this puppy whether it be by mail or on line at .________The buyer agrees to communicate any problems that arise in relation to this dog with the seller and make a good faith effort to correct those problems with the seller’s advice.________The seller understands that lifestyle changes can come with very little notice. Should the buyer no longer be able to keep this dog, he/she must notify the seller immediately. The buyer may rehome this dog, however the new owners must agree to the same terms of this contract and this contract will be assumed by the new owners. The buyer must give a copy of the agreement made with the new owner including the name, address, and contact information of the new owners to the seller, This dog should NEVER end up in a shelter. Should the buyer no longer be able to keep the dog and is unable to find a suitable home for the dog, it may be returned to the seller at any time. No financial compensation will be made to the buyer. ________If the Seller dies, all Seller’s rights (as outlined in this agreement) automatically transfer to the Seller’s next-of-kin. If the Buyer dies, Buyer’s next-of-kin must agree and sign this same contract with the Seller (paying no further money) in order to maintain ownership of the dog. If the buyer’s next-of-kin is not interested in the dog or rehoming it as set forth in this agreement, the ownership of the dog automatically transfers back to the Seller, and Buyer’s next-of-kin must sign and return all paperwork (registrations and certifications) with the dog to the seller along with all vet records.________This dog is being sold as a show/breeding prospect with full AKC registration. Based on an 8 week old evaluation, it has been determined that this puppy has no disqualifying faults as set forth in the Anatolian Shepherd Club of America breed standard. No guarantees are made in relation to this puppy’s ability to perform in Conformation or otherwise. ________The buyer must keep “WhiteKnight” or “WhiteKnight’s” as the first part of the dog’s name. Dog’s full name must be used in all print, on line, and verbal advertising of the dog and for OFA hip, and elbow certifications as well as any other registrations, certifications, testing and other formal and informal reports________If this is a male dog, the Buyer agrees that the Seller retains breeding rights to the dog. The Buyer agrees to work with the Seller to make the dog available to the Seller for breeding purposes. The Seller agrees pay all charges incurred associated with any breedings the Seller initiates including transportation costs incurred to get the male dog to an appropriate semen collection site or breeding site. The Buyer has no rights of any kind to any puppies associated with breedings initiated by the Seller. The Buyer agrees to promptly sign all required documents necessary to register the resulting litters initiated by the Seller with any and all appropriate registries initiated by the Seller. The Seller has no rights of any kind to any litters or breedings initiated by the Buyer.________This dog must not, under any circumstances be bred before the age of 2 years old AND after the dog has passed screenings for Hip Dysplasia and Elbow Dysplasia at the buyer’s expense. X-rays must be submitted to and certified clear of hip and elbow dysplasia by OFA or PennHips. (for the hips only). Copies of all health screening results done on this dog must be forwarded to the seller within 30 days of receipt by the buyer of said screening results.________The buyer agrees to breed this dog only to AKC, UKC, ASDCA, or ASDI registered dogs who are over the age of 2 years old and have passed screenings for hip and elbow dysplasia. The buyer agrees to follow the ASDCA Code of Ethics standards for breeding. (Attached)________The seller assumes no responsibility (financial or otherwise) for the dog after leaving the premises. All medical expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. It is further understood that no warranty or representation has been made with respect to the sold dog, except as set forth in writing within this agreement.
