As a reminder, all clearance packets for the upcoming hoop season are due to Mrs. Barbara Johnson before you go on Spring Break.? Part of the paperwork requires you to get a physical examination from a licensed Dr. The doctor must evaluate you to see if you are physically healthy enough to participate in a rigorous, competitive sport.? There is an important form that the Dr. must sign that is included in the clearance packet.? The deadline for the upcoming basketball season clearance packets is Friday, March 13th.Tryouts will begin on Tuesday, March 31st.? This is on a Tuesday the first week back from Spring Break.? Tryouts will be a three day, Tue. Wed. Thur., process. The tryouts will be held on the PE Basketball Courts from 3:30 - 5 PM.? All students trying out for basketball should wear athletic shorts and shoes along with a white t-shirt with last name on the front and back. The first official team practice will be held on Friday, April 3rd. ?LIBRARY NEWS:In recognition of African American History Month, the library has a display of books about notable African Americans and a large selection of books from African American authors. Please come take a look.
