Doral is one of thirty-four municipalities in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Conveniently located just one mile from Miami International Airport and twelve miles from Downtown Miami, the City of Doral occupies a land area of 15 square miles bordered on the west by the Ronald Reagan Turnpike, to the north by the Town of Medley, to the east by the Palmetto Expressway and to the South by the City of Sweetwater.

TRANSPORTATION Miami Dade Transit route 132 Doral/Tri-Rail Shuttle provides service area to Doral Executive Center, Doral Country Club, Atrium Shopping Center, Miami Springs, Hialeah Market, and Tri-Rail Station. Although Miami-Dade County Transportation does service the Doral area, it does not service inner Doral. Therefore, in February 2008, the City of Doral began a pilot program for a new form of transportation for residents, the Doral Trolley. With stops all over the city, the trolley runs all the way from Ronald W. Pinecrest is a suburban village in Miami-Dade County, Florida. It was incorporated on March 12, 1996 and is one of thirty-four municipalities in Miami-Dade County. Pinecrest is conveniently located twenty minutes south of Downtown Miami and Miami International Airport. Pinecrest encompasses eight square miles and is recognized as one of the most beautiful residential areas in South Florida; it is also one of the most affluent communities within Miami-Dade County making it a highly desirable place to live.

In addition, the Village will develop a transportation master plan to help guide the Village in planning for improved streets and transit corridors.

COMMUNITY The Village of Pinecrest identifies itself as one of the most beautiful and desirable residential areas in South Florida. Residents have access to seven recreational parks. Pinecrest Gardens is the crown jewel of the village's park system. The park also offers various programs including summer camps. The park is located on the former site of the world famous Parrot Jungle. Other parks include: Pinecrest Gardens, Flagler Grove Park, Coral Pine Park, Evelyn Greer Park, Veterans Wayside Park, and Suniland Park.
