Falcon has been selected by a Federal department to assess and evaluate applications for participation in a government grant and loan program. Our role in underwriting those applications will help the department fulfill its important public mission. The duties of this position are:Conducting financial statement analysis to evaluate credit risk of commercial, corporate, and municipal entities and other borrowers of federal credit.Possess thorough understanding of financial statements and their interactions with each otherResearching processes and financial structures related to federal credit programs.Conducting a review of data and best practices on a wide range of government and private financial structures.Documenting the technical details of your work clearly to facilitate collaboration with other team members and ensure quality control.Clearly articulating results of analysis in written form and in presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.About You: The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:Bachelors in a business-related or financial field.Five years of related work experience in a financial analysis role, with a preference for candidates whose focus is financial engineering and/or quantitative risk management.Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.Salary: Commensurate with experience and education. We offer a full package of benefits, including medical and dental insurance, and 401(k) planLocation: Employees work out of the firm’s Washington, DC, office at Metro Center, or at client’s offices as needed.
