Top Boy
Monday, 2 December 2013
A thrilling four-part British drama about young lives lived on the edge in east London - an honest and gripping rendition of inner-city drugs
and gang culture.

Life on the Summerhouse Estate in east London comes head-to-head with the world of organised crime, property development and corporate greed,
and the police start to close in on past crimes committed.

Charming, sexy and clever, 27-year-old Dushane (Ashley Walters) has finally made it as 'Top Boy' but has lost the support of his best friend
and main ally, 26-year-old Sully (Kane Robinson) in the process.

Dushane prepares to move into the big time with boss Joe (David Hayman), who has set them up with their biggest-ever shipment of drugs.
Becoming 'Top Boy', however, has come at a cost. Dushane's former right hand man Sully is now a potentially dangerous rival, resorting to ever
more desperate measures to get hold of cash with his new partner-in-crime, the violent and volatile Mike (Paul Anderson).

Things begin to go wrong when the police discover the body of arch-rival Kamale, killed by Dushane and Sully in their deadly turf war. Soon
Dushane, Sully and Dris (Shone Romulus) are arrested for Kamale's murder. As he is brought in for questioning, Dushane first encounters the
beautiful and smart solicitor Rhianna (Lorraine Burroughs) who proves to be more than a match for the police.

The Call Centre
Wednesday, 4 December 2013
The call centre's most lucrative contract is ending so it's down to CEO Nev to find a replacement or make some tough decisions.

Nev is also concerned with the number of time wasters in his employ. He attempts to convince the army of smokers at the call centre to kick
their habit and offers an incentive program.

Primping and preening is another major time waster in the office. Muscleman Corey is convinced that in Swansea it's more important for boys to
look good than girls. His new girlfriend from the office, Chloe, is also into her looks and Corey agrees to be her personal trainer.

Dwayne is the call centre's star shift manager. Due to low sales, Dwayne decides some of his staff members are in need of a sales masterclass.
After practising his delivery in the mirror he sets off to help them achieve their sales targets.

Suicide And Me: Opening Shot 2
Wednesday, 4 December 2013
Five young filmmakers are firing their OPENING SHOT.

OPENING SHOT is back with a new season of five half hour documentaries made by Australia's next generation of filmmakers.

Every 10 minutes, someone in Australia attempts to take their own life. In SUICIDE AND ME, three young suicide survivors confront the stigma by
revealing why they attempted and ultimately, how they found hope.

We meet Bryan, someone who appears seemingly carefree on the surface, but coped with the emotional trauma of his parents' breakup through
partying and denial. Becks, a victim of child sexual abuse was saved at her darkest moment by the kindness of Don Ritchie, dubbed the 'angel of
the Gap'. And Chris, who after a lifetime of bullying fell into a deep depression that culminated in the decision to end his own life.

Paralleling these powerful stories is the story of two suicide hotline operators who work through the night to provide support to callers at
their most desperate hour.

These five separate stories are interwoven, shedding light on a subject that is too often silenced. As the journey of the survivors unfolds,
they ultimately discover that the very idea of helping others, and possibly saving a life, is the best reminder of the reason why they should
continue living. Through the operators' efforts and the personal accounts of our survivors, we catch a rare insight into what can sometimes be
done to help save a life.

Set List: The Best Of
Thursday, 5 December 2013
Set List is a fully improvised stand-up show, performed by some of the world's bravest stand-up comedians in front of a live audience. It's the
ultimate challenge for them - to come up with a brand new comedy routine, on the spot, based on topics handed to them as they approach the mic.

It's a set like no other, full of weird concepts and odd juxtapositions. Each comic takes to the stage and is presented with an unseen set
list of wildly unpredictable and imaginative key phrases. From these they must create spontaneous, original stand-up sets under pressure and in
front of the live audience. It's a high energy, nerve-wracking event - the tightrope walk of comedy gigs.

On tonight's ‘best of’ episode, enema surprise party, nudists versus Buddhists, cooking for the entire Ark and prostitute voucher are just some
of the topics our comedians mine for laughs. Ross Noble talks about over-rainbow syndrome while comedy veteran Fred Willard tackles the topic
‘ransom note editor’. Other comedians featuring include: Josie Long, Marcel Lucont, TJ Miller and Greg Proops.

Unsafe Sex In The City
Friday, 6 December 2013
Unsafe Sex in the City is a shockingly honest ride into the sexual preferences and sexual health of Manchester's lusty young residents. Funny,
touching and outrageous, we follow the staff of a pioneering new clinic The Manchester Centre for Sexual Health as they struggle to combat the
rising tide of sexually transmitted diseases. From embarrassing confessions to genital warts, everything is caught on camera. We bed down with
Manchester's sexed-up youth, both in and out of the examination room, to reveal what a party lifestyle can do to your sexual health and your
life - from breaking up with your partner to making you a laughing stock amongst your friends.

Our first episode finds us in Leeds with 19-year-old Jack who has been enjoying the sexual benefits of an open relationship - perhaps a bit too
much. Just before he is due to see his boyfriend in Spain he has a sexual health scare which sees him running to the clinic and having to deal
with the consequences. Meanwhile in Exeter, Kev has been told that one of his exes may have given him chlamydia, Tilly's worried about a
potential unplanned pregnancy, and free-spirit Chantelle can't see why the risk of STIs should stop her experimenting sexually.
