The role is a key member of the Quality Assurance team and will participate in the evaluation, qualification and oversight of TM suppliers ensuring the quality and regulatory compliance of marketed products. They are to work in conjunction with the R&D, Supply Chain and the Quality Teams to evaluate and monitor suppliers' quality systems to meet TM stringent quality requirements. This function supports the growth and goal of TM to become the leading herbal wellness company in the US. The Quality Assurance Supplier Supervisor will provide quality assurance-related solutions, including building and maintaining effective working relationships between TM and the Supplier. The position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and is based in Sonoma County.REsponsibilitiesImplementing overall supplier quality programs and evaluating, qualifying, monitoring and reporting TM suppliers to ensure compliance with applicable cGMP and regulatory and Federal regulations.Identify high-risk potentials in the TM Supplier Portfolio and developing strategies and improvement plans for mitigating risks at incumbent suppliers.Documenting and executing quality process requirements for, new supplier qualifications, and supplier quality program, new product introductionDefining performance metrics with suppliers to continually improve quality and productivity, participating in quarterly supplier reviews encompassing a supplier rating system for their performance, monitors trends and corrective actions as it relates to TM products. Engaging with suppliers to produce new products and continually improve quality and productivity on existing products.Works closely with incumbent suppliers and cross-function TM Teams to commercialize any new product and assure quality issues being experienced by TM are quickly defined, reported, root cause identified and managing non-conformances and their related CAPAs at suppliers.Assisting in the preparation for, coordination, hosting, conduct, documentation of regulatory inspections Leading, conducting and/or assisting with supplier audit activitiesEducation & Experience ??In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or dietary supplement cGMPsSignificant knowledge in requirements of ICH, ISO, and other regulatory bodiesStrong statistical analytical and analytical problem-solving skills is a mustStrong leader, self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, hands-on and results drivenPrior experience and knowledge in quality management systems and manufacturing processes, and are essential. Be passionate about quality-system processes, their application, and continuous improvementProduct management experience with proven supplier leadership. Transparent in approach with a strong process-centric background.Proven ability to develop and build strong relationships with suppliers with astute oral and written communication skills and influence cross functional teamsUnderstanding of LIMS and quality control analysis is preferredCandidate should demonstrate flexibility, be willing to wear many hats and be hands onMust possess ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively, while maintaining a sense of timeliness and urgencyExcellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills with strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance position with supplier quality and manufacturing focus Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science or related field ................
