Transition Words

TRANSITION WORDS are like bridges in your writing: they help connect your ideas and carry over your thoughts. They also act as cues to help the reader understand ideas in the way(s) you want them to be interpreted. Never assume that your audience will make the connections you expect them to!

Transition words can help by connecting sentences, ideas and paragraphs.
