You will be creating a graphic organizer that reviews the material we have learned in the Trigonometric unit. The graphic organizer will be in the form of a mini-book containing several pages, as described below. It will count as a major assessment (test) grade and will be due on Thursday December 12th at the beginning of class (even if you are absent)! There will be a 10% penalty for each day that it is late. There will be a Progress Check on Tuesday, December 3rd which will count as a homework grade. You should have all required elements except for the problems that require solving. Each page should contain the following content:The topic should be listed at the top of each page. (Per header)Below the title, you should summarize in your own words what that topic is about. Be sure to include any relevant definitions in your summary. You must write in complete sentences and use correct spelling and punctuation. Summaries should be one to two sentences long. Each page should have at least one example, with all work shown.Your graphic organizer will be graded based on how well it satisfies the given conditions. You will also be graded on neatness and organization. Feel free to get creative, but make sure you do not omit any required elements.Define and give a worked out example of the following topics. radians vs. degreecoterminal angles arc length Reference AnglesLaw of Sines/ Law of CosinesHeron’s Formula (SSS)Area of a triangle (SAS)Reproduce the Unit Circle. Identify cosine, sine and what trigonometric functions are positive in each of the four quadrants. Graph the 6 trigonometric functions. Identify the period and amplitude for each. Describe how to graph the transformations. Write out the Trigonometric identities and theorems.Reciprocal IdentitiesPythagorean IdentitiesAddition and Subtraction Formulas for sine, cosine, and tangentDouble angle formulas for sine, cosine, and tangent. Half angle identitiesDescribe methods for solving trigonometric equations.Solve the following problems. Describe the process. The base of the ladder is 5 ft from the building, and the angle formed by the ladder and the ground is 78°. How high up the building does the ladder touch? Given the triangle ABC where side ab is 7 ft, bc is 15ft and angle C=12°, Find the missing sides and angles.Given the triangle ABC where b=10, c=31, and A= 80°, complete the triangle. Find the area of the triangle where A=65°, b=15 ft, c= 31ft.
