Aistear: At the Airport

Possible role play scenarios include:

• Checking passenger in

• Checking passport, weighing bags, assigning seat, etc.

• Flight attendant serving passengers tea and coffee, passengers paying (add tea set and chairs laid out in an aeroplane style)

Construction: You could make a control tower for the airport/a plane.

Small World: The children can use their dolls/figurines/lego to create an at the airport scene.

Art:

Why not take part in this fortnight’s school competition on the website. It is a poetry competition but Junior classes are allowed to illustrate the theme.

- The theme is “My Hobbies”. You can draw a picture of this and decorate it what every way you like. (paint/crayons/twistables/colouring pencils/markers)

- Be sure to put your name and a title on your picture.

- Why not give it a go, there is a medal for the best drawing/poem in each class.

- The closing date is this Friday the 22nd of May. Best of luck (

• Be sure to do your PE with Joe Wicks today. You could also do some Cosmic kids yoga!
