Any students not appropriately dressed will not be permitted to participate in the class."You must inspect what you expect, always. If you expect to be early on time to school, you should inspect your school belongings and make sure you have everything. If you expect to be great at drill, you inspect marching as a team. If you expect to be a leader, you must inspect the qualities you demonstrate to all of your peers. I expect nothing less of drill cadets putting in 100% effort in this year's drill teams, therefore your commanders will inspect...to achieve."Triniti HigueraGroup Commander8th Period Drill CommanderDrill Knowledge SheetThe Essentials:-Know your cadet rank and name-Memorize all your ribbons along with how you earned each one-Honor Code and Core ValuesDrill Commander: Triniti HigueraArmed Commander: Anson NguyenColor Guard Commander: Jacob MonzonUnarmed Commander: Opening Statement:Good Morning/Afternoon Sir/Ma’am Cadet Rank, Last Name, Ready for Inspection Sir/Ma’am Closing Statement: Good Morning/Afternoon Sir/Ma’am The Three Phases of Drill:Inspection: Grading of the uniform and bearing of each cadet on the drill teamRegulation: Restricted to SOP standards of a specific routineExhibition: Free style marching with routine created from respective drill commandersPhonetic Alphabet:*Used when spelling out anything the DI may ask, such as your last nameAlphaHotelOscarVictorBravoIndiaPapaWhiskeyCharlieJulietQuebecX-RayDeltaKiloRomeoYankeeEchoLimaSierra ZuluFoxtrotMikeTangoGolfNovemberUniformEnlisted Ranks:Officer Ranks:Airman Basic2nd LieutenantAirman1st LieutenantAirman First ClassCaptainSenior AirmanMajorStaff SergeantLieutenant ColonelTechnical SergeantColonelMaster SergeantSenior Master SergeantChief Master Sergeant*Torch on the rank symbolizes: Liberty and EnlightenmentThe Three Branches of the Military:Army / Navy / Air ForceThe Marine Corps is NOT a branch, but a department of the U.S NavyPatch Symbols:Lamp: KnowledgeBlue: SkyRed: Blood of LifeYellow: The SunWhite: DaylightColors of the Flag:7 red stripes / 6 white stripesWhite: Purity and InnocenceRed: Hardiness and ValorBlue: Vigilance, Perseverance, and JusticeThe AFJROTC MissionTo build better citizens for AmericaDefinition of a Team:A group of people who work together to achieve a common goalThe Position of AttentionStand up straightChin upChest outEyes frontThumbs fixed at the seam of the pantsHeels togetherFeet at a forty-five degree angleMISC.
