Relevant paid and volunteer work experience (chronological):

Since end March 2012, I have worked as Climate Justice and Energy Coordinator from Friends of the Earth International.

Since August 2011, I have been working in support of Justica Ambiental (JA!)

February 2010 to July 2011: I was the Northern California Program Director for the Environmental Justice Coalition for Water (EJCW), based in Oakland, California.

September 2007 to December 2008: I worked at the Division of Ratepayer Advocates, at the California Public Utilities Commission.

February to May 2004: I worked with the Rockwood Leadership Program in Berkeley, a group that conducts capacity-building trainings and workshops for non-profits and civil society organizations. In this position, I supported the Development Director in tasks relating to fund-raising and planning of tasks related with trainings.

Since March 2002, I have been involved with the peoples’ movement against displacement by large dams in India.

August 2002 to July 2003: I worked at the Demography Department at Berkeley. I assisted in admission procedures for graduate and PhD students, and helped in office maintenance.

August 2000 to June 2002: I was Accounting Assistant to the CPA of a small firm known as Premium Port Wines, Inc. I worked on several accounting procedures, used accounting software, and interacted with customers and distributors.
