Its author is the famous social worker in Tarnobrzeg, Waclaw Maczka, who was the mayor of the city from 1945 - 1947. The list was prepared in February 1965 at the request of Janina Pawlasowa, wife of the renowned pre-war doctor Eugeniusz Pawlas, who was valued in Tarnobrzeg by Poles and Jews alike. The list, created after Holocaust, is supplemented by additional information about the fate of some people. This document is a peculiar list of memories, restoring names, and thus characters who otherwise might have been forgotten forever. Notes About Authors Grzegorz Kociuba - born on February 19, 1963 in Tarnowiec near Jazla. Poet, literary critic, pedagogue. He published seven poetry books, recently Osada (2015), prose Ktos (2003) and critical literature: Maski / Twarze. Essays, sketches, reviews about poetry (2009), Faces of castaways. Poetry and essay writing by Kryzsztof Karaska (2013). He prepares an interview for the Iskry Publishing House with Krzysztof Karasek, one of the largest Polish poets. SPP member. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture. Polonist at LO them. M Copernicus in Tarnobrzeg. His poems were translated into: English, Czech, Serbian, Ukrainian, Italian. He lives in Tarnobrzeg. Witold Majka - historian, graduate of the University of Social Sciences in Kraków. Member of the TTH management board Justyna Uchanska - sociologist, works at the Psychological-Educational Clinic in Tarnobrzeg. TTH member. Tadeusz Zych - historian, dr hab. prof. Rzeszów University of Rzeszów, president of TTH, editor-in-chief of TZH, director of the Historical Museum of the city of Tarnobrzeg.
