MAJOR ROLE The role of the Food Service employee is to provide support to the Child Development Program and the CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program)

DUTIES ? Complete a variety of routine clerical tasks ? Perform basic bookkeeping tasks related to the Lunch Program ? Know meal count process ? Perform other office duties as assigned ? Perform other lunch duty related tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS ? High School graduate ? Possess a Safe Food Serve Certificate ? Ability to read recipes ? Basic cooking skills ? Knowledge of Meal patterns ? Use meal pattern to prep and prepare meals ? Ability to perform some routine clerical work with speed and accuracy ? Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions ? Ability to operate a computer, adding machine, copy machine and other office machines ? Good rapport with children, ability to understand their needs and social development ? Ability to remain flexible ? Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding students ? Maintain a positive and enthusiastic professional attitude ? Ability to write coherently and correctly ? Ability to lift 50 pounds of weight

SUPERVISION The Food Service employee shall be considered a district employee under the direct supervision of the Child Development Director
