You'll have the opportunity for continuous learning while building a foundation of skills that will help create?your life's best work.SM?Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:?Design and develop reports and analyze data to measure clinical outcomes, network performance and methodology levers.Investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses of utilization and health care cost data.Interpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches for its consolidation.Provide management with statistical findings and conclusions.? Use analyses to create viable, real-world solutions in a complex health care landscape.Conduct complex analyses and identifies potential areas for medical cost improvements and alternative pricing strategies.Provide data in support of actuarial, financial and utilization analyses.RequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants need to meet the qualifications listed in this posting.Undergraduate degree requiredCurrently pursuing an advanced degree - Masters levelStrong statistical knowledge, including at least 2 graduate level statistics classesAble to gather business information and synthesize it logically and analytically.Knowledge of SAS programming with ability to write code in base SASAble to use formulas, calculations, charts, graphs, etc.Knowledge of research design, including multiple comparisons.Experience with SAS Macros a plusStrong organization skills with ability to prioritize and multi-taskAvailable for a summer internship scheduled to start in June 2016Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPAMust be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization?(F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring?H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)?UnitedHealth Group is working to create the health care system of tomorrow.?Already Fortune 14, we are totally focused on innovation and change.
