Here at Traralgon we have a very strong junior tennis program that I have benefited from greatly. I trained for four years with college athletes David Hough (San Diego State), Josh Charlton (Oregon University) and Jack Clements (Fresno State University). These three players have had the biggest influence on my wanting to go to college, because I have been able to see how they have grown over time into both better people and tennis players. The Traralgon Tennis Association also holds a Grade 1 ITF Junior Tournament that I participated in last year. Unfortunately, I lost 6-4 in the third set to the then ranked number 98 junior in the world. My ranking has continued to increase over this year, reaching a national high of 139 (open age) and 12 (for 2001 birth-year).The reason that I want to attend college in the US is because I want to become the best tennis player that I can be, with a dream to make it onto the circuit. I feel as though the US college system is the best avenue leading to making the circuit right now. I also know that I play my best tennis when I am playing as part of a team. When I play as part of a team I feel as though it pushes me to work harder both on and off the court. I am also very dedicated to my studies and see this as the perfect opportunity to gain success in both my tennis and my studies.ResultsTournament Opponent Win/LostScore UTRITF (P for previous) /ATPAustralian Ranking Current/HighestUS College2020 Hume Tennis and Community Centre AMT PlatinumTom EvansL6-3 4-6 6-312176 (P)95 / 542019 Yarra Valley Projects Tennis ClassicJack ClementsW6-4 6-212120 / 96Fresno State University2018 Goulburn Valley JT / AMT ChampionshipJosh CharltonL7-6 6-4141491 (P)60 / 53Oregon University2018 Tennis World AMT Bronze MarchThomas Pavlekovich-SmithW7-6 6-411.3181 / 1172018 Tennis World AMT Bronze MarchJames HartsonW7-6 6-211245 / 222Winthrop University2018 J1 Traralgon Joao FerreiraL6-41-66-445Resident in Brazil2020 Goulburn Valley JT & AMT Championship Timothy McchonchieW7-56-211.3160 / 1602019 PMH Warrnambool Grasscourt JT & AMTOmar FieldsL3-6 6-1 7-512ATP- 213891 / 682019 Ballarat Open Platinum Lawrence SciglitanoL7-6 2-6 7-10121734George Washington University2018 Tennis World AMT Bronze MarchDavid QariaqusW2-6 6-2 10-611.4774235 / 1932019 Ballarat Open Platinum AMT & Gold 18sDarcy NichollsW6-46-1 11.31016209 / 2082019 18/u Australian ChampionshipsCallum GaleL4-66-33-612.274469 / 692019 Tennis World AMT Bronze JuneLuke Vuletic W7-57-611.212602872019 SOLINCO Boroondara Champions AMTWihan Van Der MerweW7-66-111.15172 / 172Tournament Opponent Win/LostScore UTRPartner/UTRITF (P for previous) /ATPAustralian Ranking Current/HighestUS College2020 Schnitz Summer International GoldAlex BulteChen DongW7-66-3AB: 12.6CD: 13Wihan Van Der Merwe / 11.1AB: 101CD: 56AB: 63 / 63CD: 66 / 482020 Schnitz Summer International GoldCooper WhiteMarcus StathosW1-66-310-3CW: 12.3MS: 11Wihan Van Der Merwe / 11.1CW:156MS 1913 (P)CW: 71 / 62MS: 128 / 1092020 Schnitz Summer International GoldErik Holt-CrossmanMatthew WoerndleL6-45-76-10EC: 12.2MW: 12.05Wihan Van Der Merwe / 11.1EC: 1798 (P)MW: 2763 (P)EC: 78 / 56MW: 164 / 1362020 Goulburn Valley JT & AMT ChampionshipsDavid BulbulianTimothy McconchieW6-35-710-8DB: 10.6TM: 11.1Wihan Van Der Merwe / 11.1DB: 279 / 279TM: 160 / 1602020 Hume Tennis and Community Centre AMT PlatinumBrandon LaubserRyan LaubserL4-62-6BL: 13.1RL: 11.6Wihan Van Der Merwe / 11.1BL: 79 / 79RL: 85 / 85BL: Auburn University2018 Rising Sun Summer JT and AMTJack ClementsTimothy McconchieW4-15-4 JC: 12TM: 11.1Josh Charlton / 14JC: 120 / 96TM: 160 / 160JC: Fresno State University2019 Goulburn Valley JT / AMT ChampionshipsJordon GlowakiAaron Leeder-ChardW6-37-6JG: 10.2AL: 12.5Josh Charlton / 14AL: 1043 (P)JG: 320 / 208AL: Lost Ranking2018 Murray Downs Golf & Country Club Swan Hill AMT & JTJosh LakaSean Van RensburgL6-46-2JL: 12.2SR: 12.3Jack Clements / 12.4JL: 811 (P)SR: 575 (P)JL: 517 / 117SR: 84 / 75JL: Stetson UniversityTeam CompetitionsHave won numerous regional championships as part of the Central Gippsland team.
