Lets say I was RPing with one of my pals and something came up in my idea. If there's good and evil, why not make a "freelance" group that tends to go both ways. For weird reasons, I forgot that due to the theme of my universe and my heroes, it's fun to have characters who are "experiments gone wrong" as it will challenge my heroes to the extreme since they're military soldiers for the most part So to up the challenge, I decided to have the characters below come from the former North Korea where despite Korean reunification, the region still has dark secrets. So why not have "experiments gone wrong" in North Korea where local authorities under the reunited Korean government are investigating the scene trying to figure out what is going on. Not to mention, have most of the experiments not being able to understand English well since language plays a role in missions. Korean modern culture is known to be stereotypically repressive on cultural protocol and the stereotypical Korean family is argued to be the most extreme compared to other Asian cultures. Korean sons are expected to be doctors and lawyers at least and driving a BMW or Mercedes and Korean daughters are expected to look as beautiful as possible and must be intelligent too like the Korean sons. The extreme expectations of the stereotypical Korean family has contributed to a lot of social problems in Korea where Koreans are very hard on themselves and are known to be devout escapists in their free time hence their obsession with video games, electronics, etc. So considering that, I thought it may help create my "freelance" group even if they're technically villains. And yes I have a lot of fox, husky, and wolf characters but that's mainly because a lot of furries have fox, wolf, or husky as their fursonas leaving the feline species open for more original characters. I have too many characters so I just stick with the canine characters mainly because they're the most commonly used species in the furry fandom.------------------------------------Demons of HeavenAfter the Korean reunification, there are still dark secrets left behind by the former North Korean government and many local Korean authorities under the new reunited Korean government often forget these things until it's too late. One of these secrets was the "Demons of Heaven" project where ex-North Korean soldiers volunteered themselves to be experiments for "physical enhancement" after the North Korean government collapse despite the risks to their mental health. Despite this, the Demons of Heaven do follow the Laws of War even if most terrorists wants to associate as little as possible with them and only need them when it's important for their missions. For that to happen, they would pay Min-Ho first since Min-Ho treats his experiments as mercenaries as much as they are his children. It is also important to note that despite the experiments being dragon furry hybrids, they do not breathe fire despite assumptions from other people.Name: Dr. Min-Ho GwakAge: 26Gender: MaleSpecies: Fennec FoxAppearance: A white fennec fox with long black hair and green eyes and is often seen wearing his white lab coat and tan long khaki pants.Languages: English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese.Weapons: Two Daewoo K5 pistols and USAS-12 automatic shotgun.Personal Quote: "I will be the most successful with my experiments; the Demons of Heaven!"Background: Min-ho was born to a military family in Pyongyang when North Korea had its own dictatorship where his parents were both military officers. Min-ho was interested in genetics to the point that he was sent to private schooling in China throughout his youth before attending John Hopkins University in the United States to major in biology before devoting himself to genetic research where he would get his PhD in genetics with honors. He would later return to North Korea to help North Korean scientists on genetic research even way after the collapse of the North Korean government. He would take advantage of lost ex-North Korean furry soldiers by persuading them to volunteer themselves to be part of his experiment of genetic enhancement where Min-Ho would enhance them with the "dragon DNA" making his experiments dragon and furry hybrids where they are larger, stronger, scarier, and overall deadlier. Plus, his experiments heal faster too allowing less burden on those who treat his injured experiments. When his experiments became known around the world, the Korean government placed a warrant for capture on Min-Ho and most countries began to enforce curfews to protect their civilians from loose experiments.Name: Jung-Sang HyeongAge: 22Gender: MaleSpecies: Fox Dragon HybridAppearance: Large and muscular orange fox with the usual black fur on his ears and limbs but with long black hair with red tips and red eyes complete with large black dragon wings on his back. His claws on his feet and hands are more prominent as well as sharp compared to just regular furries. His usual clothing is just him in black camo pants with chains around his waist and he is shirtless.Languages: Korean, Chinese, and Japanese only.Weapons: Two Pfeifer-Zeliska revolvers, Daewoo K11 assault rifle, and two high-tech hwando swords.Personal Quote: "If you want to be brave, then you must understand fear!"Background: Nothing much about Jung-Sang is known other than the fact that he's from the Korean city of Kaesong. He, like the experiments of the Demons of Heaven, were former North Korean soldiers before the collapse of North Korea followed by the Korean reunification.Name: Hyung-Won JeupAge: 25Gender: MaleSpecies: Wolf Dragon HybridAppearance: Large and muscular black wolf with long black hair, purple eyes, and black dragon wings on his back. Claws are more prevalent and sharper on hands and feet. He's commonly only seen in black camo pants with chains only.Languages: Korean, Chinese, Russian, and Japanese only.Weapons: Daewoo K4 automatic grenade launcher, two CF05 submachine guns, and high-tech guandao (Chinese polearm).Personal Quote: "Your morals will not save you in battle!"Background: Nothing much is known about Hyung-Won but ever since he volunteered himself for Min-Ho's "genetic enhancement" program in hopes of finding a better life for himself after North Korea's government collapsed, he, like many of the experiments, lost their sanity permanently after being injected with the "dragon DNA" altering his appearance to be larger and fiercer. Something to note is that Hyung-Won prefers to position his K4 first before firing the weapon as its more accurate that way.Name: Ki-Moon ChanggokAge: 24Gender: MaleSpecies: Husky Dragon HybridAppearance: Large and muscular black and white husky with blue eyes, long black hair, and large black dragon wings on his back. Like his fellow experiments, he only wears black camo pants with chains around his waist.Languages: Korean, Chinese, Malay, and Japanese only.Weapons: Daewoo XK8 bullpup assault rifle, two Taurus Raging judge revolvers, and two high-tech Chinese hook swords.Personal Quote: "Your tools won't help you in battle!"Background: Ki-Moon was a Taekwondo instructor in the North Korean military. When North Korea collapsed leading to the Korean reunification, Ki-Moon lost his job with the North Korean military and decided to volunteer himself to be part of Min-Ho's experiment because he wanted to be "more popular". Sadly, he would be an experiment with Min-Ho.----------------------Demons of Heaven belongs to me. ................
