Letter from the Publisher

T his past year, with the continuing COVID-19 crisis and all its accompanying challenges, our doctors have been forced to step up to enormous new challenges. Whether specializing in the treatment of infectious diseases or otherwise, it has been our doctors on the front lines making pivots and adjustments to their routines and their methods of delivering care ? all while maintaining their commitment to a gold standard of treatment.

On the preventive side as well, it is the health care providers who serve as our all-hours "trusted advisors" for our bodies and overall physical and mental well-being. It's hard to think of more important guidance than that received from our doctors.

The Los Angeles region is brimming with many of the best doctors in the country and the world. Indeed, there are so many great doctors here, it makes it tough to select the very best providers to profile in these pages.

We're proud to present you with our selections ? chosen from hundreds of nominations ? and congratulate those excellent physicians and care practitioners who made this year's class of 2021 Top Doctors. By maintaining the physical health of our people ? during a pandemic or otherwise ? they are making a difference and helping to make our community of businesses thrive.

Congratulations ? and thank you ? to all the great physicians who made this class and who play such an integral role in our lives and the lives of our families, friends and colleagues ? now more than ever.

Best regards,

Josh Schimmels Publisher & CEO
