Billet Description: Assigned as Senior Executive Health Service Officer on the Admirals staff of HQ USMC Health Service, Office of The Medical Officer of the Marine Corps (TMO).Primary Duties and Scope of Responsibility:Serves as advocate for USMC through duties as Executive Liaison Officer to BUMED on all BUMED enterprise clinical service initiatives, groups, boards, and committees, to include the following: (list not fully inclusive)BUMED HRO Coordination and All CallOperational Quality Safety Council (OQSC)Quality Collaboration Standards Board (QCSB)Collaborative Care Board (CCB)Operational Medicine Clinical CommunityMaritime Blood Use Sub-CommunityHealth Service Integrator with Disability Evaluation System stakeholders with DoN/ASN M&RA, HQ USMC M&RA, and BUMED. Responsible Officer for Headquarters Marine Corps, Health Service on Government Accounting Office (GAO) audits and Department of Defense Inspector General evaluations.Lead Authority for HQ USMC Health Service in Musculoskeletal, Woman’s Health, and Primary care Optimization efforts in support of USMC.Executive oversight of the management of Department of Navy Tracker. (DoN Tracker) Lead Integrator on coordination between HQ USMC Manpower Management and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth on Health Evaluation and Lifestyle Management (HELM) program.Executes Clinical Service initiatives directed by The Medical Officer of the Marine Corps.HQ USMC voting member in the Health Services Operational Advisory Group (HSOAG).Develops and prepares a variety of correspondence and other executive products for Flag & General Officer review such as; formal letters, info papers, position papers, decision briefs, tracking reports, executive summaries (EXSUM’s), and bullet background papers. Performs other duties as identified and assigned by TMO and or USMC equities. Experience and Required Grade:Executive Leadership Experience in Clinical Health Service.Prior Operational experience with preference for past service in USMC and FMF qualified.Possess or be eligible for Secret security clearance. Top Secret eligibility preferred. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with military and civilians Senior Executive Leaders across all military ranks and civilian grades, to include Flag, General Officer, and, Senior Executive Service (SES) level.
