F.A. Nettelbeck 2008 –2012 Collection
SPEC.RAR.CMS.362
Guide compiled by Lauren Cunningham
Most of this collection was donated by F.A. Nettelbeck between 2008 and his death in 2011. A few materials were donated after Nettelbeck’s death by people like Stephen Kessler, F.A. Nettelbeck’s friend and publisher. The collection contains photographs, poems (both by Nettelbeck and by friends), manuscripts, and correspondence, among other things. Among the manuscripts are editions of Bug Death and appearances of Bug Death in various publications. There are newspaper articles within the collection, including several about the Symbionese Liberation Army, Nettelbeck’s work, and Nettelbeck’s obituary. The collection also contains notations on envelopes and Post It notes created by Nettelbeck. In addition, the F.A. Nettelbeck 2008 Collection has print-outs of materials posted on Nettelbeck’s blog, complete with edits. Poems and other materials may be seen on his blog, .
While the collection was donated beginning in 2008, there are materials dating as far back as 1965. This collection is of value for research in poetry, alternative and experimental poetry, visual poetry and F.A. Nettelbeck. For further information on Nettelbeck and OSU’s holdings, please refer to the earlier F.A. Nettelbeck Collection, .
