Job Description Vice President-Baseball

The Vice President-Baseball presides over the operations of the league's baseball division in the absence of the President, works with other officers and committee members, is ex-officio member of all committees and carries out such duties and assignments as may be delegated by the President.

Reports to: President

Responsibilities include:

? Act on behalf of the President as requested, in any and all baseball related matters

? Direct and coordinate the activities of personnel appointed to baseball operations

? Participate in the player registration process

? Ensure adequate inventories of equipment and supplies are maintained

? Work with league Player Agent-Baseball to organize and conduct player evaluations for Triple A and Majors baseball divisions

? Work with league Player Agent-Baseball to conduct baseball player drafts

? Work with league Player Agent-Baseball to prepare baseball game schedules

? Coordinate issuance and subsequent return of all equipment and supplies with Equipment Manager

? Report to President all information and suggested improvement recommendations relative to baseball operations
