And we Achieve United.Overview:The WOT Workplace Campaign subcommittee created a toolkit to provide steering committee members with UWMD materials to leverage during a workplace campaign, a marketing campaign, a sponsored event, or an employee volunteering opportunity to: Recognize and engage current WOT members.Drive awareness of the WOT. Identify and recruit new WOT members. What is Our Ask of You? Review this document and referenced materials and identify opportunities within your organization to be a champion for the WOT. Members volunteer as youth mentors, meet with Texas legislators about improving childcare standards, travel to the Texas Capitol and Washington, D.C. to advocate on Capitol Hill and much more. Advocacy – Since 2008, half of all advocates that have met with elected officials at the U.S. or Texas Capitol have been members of the Women of Tocqueville. Volunteer Engagement – In 2019-2020 this dynamic group of women gave of their time – 462 volunteer hours – advancing education and health outcomes with a focus on kindergarten readiness, mentoring for college prep, strengthening 3rd grade reading level success, and supporting the mental health and wellness of seniors in assisted living facilities during COVID-19.Financial Impact – Because of the generous gifts from the Women of Tocqueville – over $4,470,000 in 2019-2020 – 360,000 lives were supported/impacted and over 118 grants wereI look forward to getting to know you and learning more about the causes that matter to you - and of course I am available to connect over the phone or through a video call anytime. “See” you soon,[Email Signature] ................
