Installation Guide

Install VoiceTextTM Engine

This section describes the process of installing a NeoSpeech VoiceTextTM Engine on your computer. 1. Download files.

a. You must get one order email from Reallusion containing both the CD-Key number and two download links; one for the TTS voice(s), the other for the WinHostID_MacAddress.exe application.

b. In order to download the files, please go to the order email that was sent to you by Reallusion and click on the download links provided inside. You will get the email contents as below:

c. If you click on the link(s), then the download(s) will begin. 2. When your downloads have concluded, click on Setup.exe. 3. The installation process will begin.

4. Select the "Next" button. 5. Select the installation Destination Folder.

6. After selecting the directory location, click "Next" to proceed. 7. The InstallShield Wizard will unpack the engine.

8. When the wizard completes, the below screenshot will appear.

9. The installation is now complete. 10. Now you need to retrieve your verification.txt file by using your CD-Key number. Then you

need to copy and paste your verification.txt into the following directory for each voice folder: e.g. C:\Program Files\VW\VT\Julie\M16\data-common\verify. To learn how to retrieve your verification.txt file, please refer to the next page for more details. 11. The NeoSpeech VoiceTextTM Engine is now ready to be used.

Verification License Retrieval

This section describes the process of retrieving your verification license key (verification.txt). 1. Go to

2. Enter your CD-key number and click on Get License. 3. Review the license information, and click on Next.

4. Enter the MAC address ("Physical Address") of your system's network interface card (NIC) where the TTS engine/server is installed. Enter the 12-digit hexadecimal code (numbers/characters) with no spaces (dashes '-' and colons ':' between characters are acceptable). Click Receive License. If you don't know your system's MAC address, please refer `How to look up system's MAC address', which is on the next page.

5. If you want to save the `verification.txt' file in your local computer, click Save to File. Otherwise, click Deliver via E-mail.

6. Put the license file "verification.txt" in the appropriate "verify" directory. Please refer to the Julie

voice examples below, which are for different operating systems.

a. VoiceText(TM) Desktop for Windows (32-bit):

C:\Program Files\VW\VT\Julie\M16\data-common\verify\

b. VoiceText(TM) Desktop for Windows (64-bit):

C:\Program Files (x86)\VW\VT\Julie\M16\data-common\verify\

c. VoiceText(TM) SAPI5.1 for Windows (32-bit):

C:\Program Files\VW\VT\Julie\M16-SAPI5\data-common\verify\

d. VoiceText(TM) SAPI5.1 for Windows (64-bit):

C:\Program Files (x86)\VW\VT\Julie\M16-SAPI5\data-common\verify\

e. VoiceText(TM) Server for Windows:

C:\VW\VTSvc\verify\

f. MRCP Server for Windows:

C:\VW\VWMRCPSvc\verify\

NOTE:

1. If you installed multiple voices, make a copy of the "verification.txt" file and place the verification.txt files in the "verify" directory for each voice.

2. If you installed server and voice, make a copy of the "verification.txt' file and place the verification.txt files in the both "verify" directory (for server and voice).

[ How to look up system's MAC address ]

1. In the order email you received from Reallusion, you will find an additional download link for a file titled "WinHostID_MacAddress.zip".

2. Download this ZIP file to your computer and unzip it. 3. Then double-click on the exe. file, and copy the Mac Address number that appears.

4. Now you need to paste this Mac Address number into the fourth step of the verification license retrieval process.

Uninstall VoiceTextTM Engine

This section describes the process of uninstalling a VoiceTextTM Engine. 1. From the "Start menu" go to the Control Panel and click on the "Programs and Features"

button/link (For Windows XP or older version "Add or Remove Programs"). 2. Select the engine to be uninstalled (e.g. VT-Julie-M16).

3. Click the "Uninstall" button and a Confirm File Deletion pop-up will appear.

4. Click the "OK" button. 5. The InstallShield Wizard will run and uninstall the engine.
