At the Financial Opportunity Center, Volunteers of America Texas is helping people gain financial stability ? for good. By empowering individuals with critical skills and tools using a proven, researchbased curriculum, we are changing the face of poverty, one person at a time.

INCOME SUPPORTS

Participants will receive assistance with public benefit applications and linkages to community resources.

FINANCIAL COACHING

Participants will engage in financial literacy workshops and one-on-one financial coaching.

EMPLOYMENT COACHING

Connections to job opportunities are available upon completion of a skills training and job readiness workshops

Must be +18 years of age Must have lived in Houston

for 3+ years Must be able to use a

computer and have adequate computer/webcam access*

*Trainings are offered via online and hybrid instruction.
