Vice President of OperationsPOSITION SUMMARY Manages the plant by overseeing all aspects of Manufacturing, Quality and Processes. This position will also primarily be responsible for managing and reducing operating costs, increase revenues, and manage customer specific operations by establishing strategic plans that align with the Company’s core objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDirectly oversees management of production, processes and standard of quality.Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.Prepares long-range planning to support overall Company goals.Implements policy making & decision-making planning with direct reporting departments.Identifies, recommends and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resource and materials. Conducts forecasting of revenue while keeping reduction of operating costs as priority, increasing revenue, and exceeding customer expectations.Leads all production staff and management in a way that instills teamwork, efficiency and a high standard of quality.Consistently looks for ways to improve efficiencies throughout the facility.Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.Thorough understanding and ability to use continuous improvement tools.Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgement and professionalism.Performs all other related duties as assigned by the CEO/President.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Competency Statement(s) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Access, SQL data base reporting function.Multitasking is necessary for the handling of special projects and customers at the same time. Understanding customer communication and dynamics, and having a strong sense of urgency to meet their needs.Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 10 years’ experience in EMS with previous leadership roles.
