PDF Water Balloon Toss - mccsHH

Water Balloon Toss:

How to Play:

1. Divide all players into groups of two and give each pair a balloon. 2. Players should line up in two lines, with partners facing each other about 3 feet apart to start. 3. Each player holding a balloon gently tosses it to their partner. If the other player catches it successfully, the partners each take another step backwards. If the balloon breaks, it's game over and that pair is out. 4. If you're playing with a group of people, keep playing until only one pair is left. The last pair standing is the winners!

Rules:

- If the balloon hits the ground, but doesn't pop, the pair is still in the game. The balloon must break! - Everyone must step back together- same time and same distance. The game ref will call out when it is time to step back after each throw/catch round.

Cornhole:

Set Up:

1. Boards shall be set up 20 feet apart facing each other.

2. All bags start on one end.: 4 of one color for Team #1 and 4 of another color for Team #2

3. Two pairs play at once ? 1 partner at each board so that you share a board with your opponent and your partner is at the other board.

How to Play:

1. Players take turns tossing the bean bags at the hole on the opposite board from the right or left pitcher's box (side of the board), until they have thrown all four bean bags. The team that scored the most points in the previous round gets to go first.

2. Tally up the points for that round and then remove the bags so the other two players can play.

3. Repeat steps 1-2 back and forth until you have a winner.

Rules:

- Scoring goes as follows: beanbag in the hole = 3, beanbag on the board =1 point, beanbag anywhere else = 0 points.

- If the beanbag touches the ground, (ex: half on the board, half on the ground) it counts for 0 points.

- If a bag is half way in the hole, half way on the board, the bag still counts for only 1 point. - If the bag bounces onto the board or touches the ground in any way prior to landing on the board, it is a dead bag and doesn't count. - Teams play to 21 points. You must score exactly 21. If you bust and go over, you go back to 15 points. - You must finish the round! If Team #1 reaches 21 half way through, both teams must finish throwing all their bean bags before they are declared winners. - Cancellation Scoring: Only non-cancelled points count for the end of each round.

Ex: Team #1 landed one bag on the board and one bag in the hole for a total of 4 points. Team #2 landed two bags in the hole for a total of 6 points. The points for this round would be 2-0 in Team #2's favor. - You cannot step in front of the end of the board while tossing the bean bags. Toes behind the line!

Ladder Golf: (much like cornhole in general play with minor changes for scoring and equipment) How to Play: 1. Players take turns tossing the bolas at the rungs on the opposite ladder, until they have thrown all three bolas. The team that scored the most points in the previous round gets to go first. 2. Tally up the points for that round and then remove the bolas so the other two players can play. 3. Repeat steps 1-2 back and forth until you have a winner. Rules: - Scoring goes as follows: top rung = 3 points, middle rung = 2 points, bottom rung = 1 points.

- Teams play to 21 points. You must score exactly 21. If you bust and go over, you go back to 18 points. - You must finish the round! If Team #1 reaches 21 half way through, both teams must finish throwing all their bolas before they are declared winners. - Cancellation Scoring: Only non-cancelled points count for the end of each round.

Ex: Team #1 landed one bola on the top rung and one bola on the bottom rung for a total of 4 points. Team #2 landed two bolas on the top rung for a total of 6 points. The points for this round would be 2-0 in Team #2's favor.

- You cannot step in front of the end of the ladder while tossing the bolas. Toes behind the line!
