Will we utilize an existing Ethernet cabling to all the points the terminal will be installed? Answer: - Yes, we do. The IT department will propose RJ45 cable on the selected emplacement. If new cabling is desired, what is the cable length required? Answer: the Africa Union will handle the cabling issue if required.Will we utilize your existing Network Switch? Answer: - yes, we have a full network infrastructure. We will propose the IP plan during installation phase.Will we utilize your existing PC/Server to run the Software for the Access Control? Answer: - yes, we will handle anything concerning system and network infrastructure.?Do you still require a Key Pad? Answer: - kindly maintain the specification proposed on the bidding document.If not, would you wish to replace the Key Pad to a Facial Recognition option? Answer: - the main requirement of the bidding document is as indicated in the technical requirement of the bidding document. Answer: - Our WIFI access point used for outside zone run under 2.4 GHz. However, fell free to propose a jammer handling 2.4 and 5Ghz Is the 100W Power Output necessary? Our system is able to achieve a 50m Radius using a 40W Power Output due to our antenna system. Answer: - Well noted. We are open to any specific proposal provided that the new proposal is for the benefit of the Africa Union. Please note that jamming these frequencies will also affect all other devices that operate in this frequency range and not only Wi-Fi; therefore, Bluetooth devices, Commercial-of-the-Shelf drones, etc. Answer: - the purpose is to stop our WIFI signal out of the premises. The jammer will be deployed on the perimeter wall. The most important criteria is to be able to configure the jamming distance to avoid disturbing neighbour’s facilities. Please note that jammers are also controlled/restricted/ items subject to export controls by various governments. In the case we may require End-user Certifications, please confirm that AUC would be able to provide this.Answer: - we will handle the legislation part and custom clearance.
