Community Care Grants
Program Guidelines
The Program At Wells Fargo, we understand the importance and impact of our team members supporting the communities where we live and work. The Community Care Grants program recognizes the many ways our team members live out this support by rewarding time volunteering, internal leadership that benefits Team Member Networks, Green Teams and Volunteer Chapters; external leadership as nonprofit board service; and financial giving during the annual Community Support Campaign. The Community Care Grants program offers team members the ability to qualify for up to $2,000 in Community Care Grants each year. Once qualified, team members can direct Community Care Grants to more than 100,000 eligible charities.
Eligible participants All active regular, part-time, or flexible team members of Wells Fargo (or any of its subsidiaries), including those in the Short-Term Assignment Resources (STAR) program, are eligible to participate in the Community Care Grants program. This includes team members outside the U.S. although certain pay types may be limited with financial giving during the Community Support Campaign.
Ineligible participants Wells Fargo board members, retirees, and team members who are on an active leave of absence are not eligible to participate in the Community Care Grants program. Team members are encouraged to direct their Community Care Grants before entering a leave of absence, as they may expire during a leave and will not be eligible for reinstatement.

Community Care Grant Processing Community Care Grant disbursements are processed monthly. Individual Community Care Grant disbursement timing is dependent on when a team member directs a Community Care Grant. Funds will not be disbursed to your selected charity until you direct your Community Care Grant. Grant funds will be disbursed to the designated charity within 4 to 6 weeks from the date the team member directs the grant.
In order for a designated charity to accept Community Care Grant funds, they must be willing to answer, "No," to the following nondiscrimination statement:
Does your organization discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, marital status, status as a protected veteran, or any other status protected by federal state or local law?
If a designated charity is unable to answer, "No," to this nondiscrimination statement, the Community Care Grant Funds will need to be returned and the team member will be presented with an opportunity to direct the funds to another grant-eligible charity.
Team members must be active at the time of the Community Care Grant direction.
Community Care Grants are paid at the discretion of the Wells Fargo Foundation, which is the owner of the grant funds. Team members have the opportunity to direct Wells Fargo Foundation dollars to eligible organizations. Terms such as "benefits," "redeem," and "incentive" do not imply team member ownership of the funds.
Wells Fargo reserves the right to approve or decline the disbursement of any Community Care Grant.
