The Wells Fargo Foundation Community Grant
The Wells Fargo Foundation Community Grant helps fund students' participation in high impact practices including research, study away, internships, independent study, student conferences and service learning. Students applying for funding must demonstrate financial need (defined by FAFSA standards) and the project being funded must be affiliated with an experience that will be registered for, or participated in, within the same academic year (i.e. pre-research during the summer that aligns to a fall independent study course).
This grant may award up to $450.00 per applicant. Award Criteria:
o Latino Students or First Generation o High Financial Need (defined by FAFSA standards)

registration etc.).
Disbursement of Funds: In the event I am granted funding I request the funds to be dispersed by way of:
o Check: I understand that this money will be dispersed as a check from the College to myself and
that I must claim it as income on taxes.
o Applied directly to campus program fee (untaxed) o Reimbursement: Receipts required (untaxed)
I also understand that I will have to provide receipts showing usage of the funds and that any unused funds will be owed back to the College.
