The successful candidate will be making a contribution to the brand and tone of voice of the Centre by translating marketing copy and ensuring consistency. Key responsibilities will include translation of creative copy, championing of the Welsh language and marketing duties including updating the website, creating new webpages, contributing to social media and occasional copywriting. In the role you will learn new digital skills such as CMS and image sourcing. The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in Welsh, with an interest in translation and a passion for the arts. They will be a team player, with an eagerness to learn new skills, to develop confidence, and to make a contribution to a new team at the beginning of an exciting chapter.SpecialistAccountabilities :To translate creative copy for the marketing and communications teamTo manage the Translations inbox and respond to the needs of Centre staff membersTo proof read marketing materials.To co-ordinate resources with external translation services, delivering content to specified deadlinesTo maintain the Centre’s tone-of-voice in both Welsh and English, giving guidance and where necessary to internal usersBe an advocate for the use of the Welsh language and the requirements of the Centre’s bilingual policy in accordance with the current Welsh Language StandardsDigital responsibilities include: Updating the website and creating new pages as required.
