Please include the amount of shirts you want as well as sizes with your check. Remember: your shirt will not be ordered unless payment is received by February 1st. (A picture of the shirt is on our Facebook page)HERE IS THE LATEST CHANGE.All contestants will be introduced to the judges prior to the start of the pageant beginning 35 minutes prior to the competition. Your competitor must be ready to go to meet the judges when called. They do not have to be totally ready for the competition, but must go and meet the judges. They will be taken to the judges room for a 2 minute “meet and greet” and then returned to the dressing room (three competitors at a time). This will give the judges the time to put a “face with a name.” Please let your girls know about this prior to their pageant so that it will not catch them off guard. They will not be judges during this time…simply meet the judges. This is at the request of the judges. Please remember that using social media to raise money for this pageant is strictly prohibited. Using the “Miss Shining Star” or “Open Doors TN” name to request money for this pageant is not allowed. All efforts have been made to make this available to girls at no cost, and it is confusing to those who have graciously donated money to this event, allowing it to be free to the girls and their families, when they see others raising money for their individual competitor. Anyone caught doing this will be disqualified from the pageant. Just for clarity, this pageant is offered to girls and young ladies who were naturally born a female (in compliance with the Miss America, Miss United States, etc. pageant systems.)All questions should be sent to the director of the Miss Shining Star pageant.
