I Life of Siddhartha Gautama 6th c. BCE (“Little Buddha”)

Little Buddha is really TWO stories – the story of the Buddhist monk (lama) LAMA NORBU who is looking for his reincarnated teacher, LAMA DORGE, and, the story of the life of the Buddha, which is intertwined with the first story. Tibetan Buddhist monks, who were exiled from China after WWII, believe that their teachers are reincarnated into boys who are offered the opportunity to train in Buddhist monasteries (currently located in Bhutan & countries south of Tibet/China).
