Our recipe for fun in the Northwest region includes 18 campgrounds sprinkled over two states and British Columbia, with a generous helping of friendly competitions, parades, and potlucks topped off with a heaping portion of local events. Enjoy a Friday Night Movie in the Rec Centre. There will be a Mother's Day craft and tea Saturday. Bring Mom for a free Sunday morning breakfast to celebrate Mother's Day. Breakfast will be served Saturday and Sunday. No dinner.

May 17 ? 20 CDN Long Weekend/Victoria Day

Big screen Friday Night at the Rec Center. Saturday will feature a Potluck Dinner and entertainment at the Rec Center. Please supply a dish big enough for 10 people. Breakfast will be served Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

May 24 ? 26 USA Memorial Day & Member Appreciation Day

Join us Saturday to celebrate the American Memorial Day Weekend and Member Appreciation Day for Thousand Trails. Cake will be served at the Rec Center. Breakfast will be served Saturday and Sunday. Saturday dinner at the Rec Center.

June 14 ? 16 Father's Day Weekend

Friday Night Movie at the Rec Center. Saturday dinner at the Rec Center. On Sunday, bring Dad for a free breakfast to celebrate Father's Day. Breakfasts will now be served every weekend through Labor Day.

June 28 ? July 4 Canada Day/4th of July Weekend

Friday Night Movie at the Rec Center. On Saturday, we will have a Bike Parade & Decorating contest for the kids. Join us during the day to build your own banana split and enjoy dinner and evening entertainment at the Rec Center on Saturday evening. On Monday, July 1, celebrate Canada Day at the Rec Center with complimentary cake and half-priced ice cream!

July 5 ? 7 Casino Weekend

Friday night movie. On Saturday, we will be making tie-dye t-shirts! Sign up will be required for this activity at a cost of $5. Saturday night, we will feature our Annual Casino Night for the adults. No dinner due to Casino setup.

July 12 ? 14 Christmas in July Weekend

Friday night movie at the Rec Center. Join us on Saturday for Christmas craft making and tree decorating. Come say hello to Santa and join him for a Christmas hayride! On Saturday evening, we will feature our famous Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings! Purchase your tickets at the Country Store before Saturday, July 13 to get a spot. Limited seating for 80.

July 19 ? 21 Western Weekend

Our usual Friday night movie plays at the Rec Center. Dress up in your Western gear and come for a chili cook-off at the Rec Center on Saturday. Then there will be karaoke!

July 26 ? 28 Happy Birthday Weekend

Friday night movie. On Saturday we will be celebrating birthdays. Games, cake, and more! Thousand Trails will be celebrating their 50th anniversary. Join us Saturday for a special time capsule event.

August 2 ? 5 BC Day Weekend

Big screen Friday Night at the Rec Center. On Saturday, come to the Rec Center for ice cream floats and face painting for the kids. Let's put a smile on your face! Saturday dinner and entertainment at the Rec Center.

August 9 ? 11 Crafty Weekend

Fun for the whole family! Big screen Friday night movie. Saturday we will be making tie-dye t-shirts! Saturday afternoon, adults are invited to a card making class in the Adult Center. Sign-up sheets for these activities will be posted for a cost of $5. Saturday dinner in the Rec Center.

August 16 ? 18 Luau Weekend

Big screen Friday night movie at the Rec Center. Saturday's annual Roast Pig Dinner with all the trimmings! Purchase tickets starting July 27 at the Country Store. Tickets will be limited to 100. It's our world-famous Paul TavaiLatta luau show with his Polynesian Dance Champions. This will be his 41st year here at Cultus Lake. This is not just a show, it's a production!

August 23 ? 25 Wet and Wild Pool Party Weekend

Fun for the whole family! Big screen Friday night movie the Rec Center. On Saturday join us for a chocolate slip n' slide, and water wars! Look for signs with more info posted throughout the campground. Then, come out on Saturday night to enjoy a movie from the pool and remember to bring your floaties!

August 30 ? September 2 Labor Day Weekend & Member Appreciation Day

Big screen Friday Night at the Rec Center. Saturday, come out for our Kids Carnival during the day and our "End of the Season Must Go Dinner" in the evening (check out the new menu!) This will be the last regular dinner for this year. Saturday evening, come out to the Rec for an evening of entertainment! Sunday is Member Appreciation Day so join us for cake at the Rec Center. Our last breakfast of the season will be on September 2.

September 14 Doggy Swim

Bring your fur babies out to the doggy swim on the last day the pool is open.

September 28 Cultus Lake Thanksgiving

Every year we celebrate Thanksgiving a couple of weekends before the Canadian Thanksgiving with a Turkey Potluck Dinner. We supply the turkey, you supply the trimmings. Please bring enough for 10 people. Sign up sheet will be available.

October 25 ? 27 Halloween Weekend

Friday night movie in the Rec Center. We'll be holding pumpkin carving contests and have treats and crafts for the kids on Saturday. Adults can participate in the RV decorating contest over the weekend to compete for the prize for the spookiest rig! Trick-or-treat with us on Saturday night!

December 7 Cultus Lake Christmas Dinner

It's our annual Christmas party! Baked ham and potluck dinner. We supply the ham, you supply the trimmings. Please bring enough for 10 people. Sign up sheet will be available.

December 28 ? January 1 New Year's Weekend

Come celebrate the end of the year and dance the night away at Cultus Lake to ring in the New Year!

Welcome back! If you rent one of our annual sites, please join us for our free "Annual Site Holder" Brunch on Saturday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. in the lodge. Moms eat free breakfast on Sunday! See activity calendar at check-in for menu.

May 25 ? 27 Memorial Day Weekend/ Furry Friends

Join us on Saturday for a Pet Parade with costume judging, pet rock painting, and special treats for our special puppy guests! We'll show our member appreciation with cake and ice cream at the lodge.

June 1 National Trails Day? & Club Blazer Weekend*

Join us for coffee and snacks before we hike around the campground. Learn some campground history and see what's to be seen and done in beautiful Central Oregon! Snacks and games for Club Blazer participants!

June 8 Chili Cook-Off

Rustle up your best pot of chili and we will provide the corn bread! Bring your own bowls and spoons for tasting. Great way to touch base with old friends and make new ones! Join us for Brown Bag Bingo in the afternoon.

June 15 Father's Day Wild West Weekend

Hot dog roasting lunch and boot stompin' Western games! Join us for some fun with Dad at the campground this weekend.

June 22 Pirates at Bend-Sunriver!

Ahoy, matey! Join us for some swashbuckling fun searching for the stolen pirate treasure somewhere in the campground! Come decked out in your pirate gear. The treasure will be shared by all participants.

June 25 ? July 5 Annual Horseshoe Tournament

All ages and abilities are welcome to join the games. Senior and youth games, potlucks, prizes, and fun for all who participate!

June 29 "Hot Wheel" Races

Once again, bring your hot wheel or buy one of ours for the downhill speed races! Adults, there's a race for you, too! At Monthly Market at the lodge, someone else's treasure might be just what you've been looking for, so come check it out! Wonderful (off-site) fireworks displays are in nearby La Pine and Bend on the 4th at 10 p.m.

July 6 Celebrate the USA in Bend!

The campground will be decorated to welcome you for the 4th! Join us at the Banana Split Extravaganza. Check out our Patriotic Sidewalk Art. Decorate your site. Join in on the Patriotic Parade!

July 13 Splash, Soak, and Float!

Calling all river floaters! Bring your flotation devices (or rent one of ours) for one big float together down the Little Deschutes River!

Welcome BBQ social followed by a round robin tournament ending with a junior tournament. This year, you may register at .

Join a team and compete in these funny, wacky games! Your team might be the big winners of the wacky prizes! Our local magician, Mr. Magic, entertains us in the evening!

July 27 Western Weekend

Our themed obstacle course and haystack dive keep all the kids busy this Saturday afternoon! Cowboy root beer floats will follow. In the evening in town square, we have CountryWestern musical entertainment followed by a Western movie!

July 27 Celebrate Thousand Trails 50th Anniversary!

Join us at Bend-Sunriver for a time capsule event and leave your mark on the next 50 years of Thousand Trails' history!

August 3 Hawaiian Banana Split Delight

Wear your lei this weekend! Bring your prettiest, ugliest, or coolest flip flops for a contest. Saturday is the pineapple cutting contest followed by the giant banana split building event which everyone gets to sample! Yum, with a pineapple on top!

August 10 Splash, Soak, and Float!

We had so much fun doing this in July, let's do it again! Bring your flotation devices or rent our tubes. This is one big float together down the Little Deschutes River. Lots of fun on a hot day!

August 17 Fiesta Weekend

This is our Fiesta Game weekend! Teams compete in the Macho Nacho, Taco Battle, and Pi?ata Bust.

August 24 Bingo by the Pool

Lounge by the pool while the kids retrieve Bingo balls! We'll have some fun prizes and there's no swimming required! Everyone is welcome; bring your chairs.

August 31 ? September 2 Labor Day Pool Party Weekend

Hotdog BBQ, carnival games, and lots of prizes! Bingo and live musical entertainment in the evenings. Join us at the lodge for our Monthly Market. Out with the old and in with the new!

September 7 Doggie Dive and Swim

This is the most popular weekend for dogs and dog owners! Pool closes to humans and opens to our pups all weekend! Splash, run, jump, bark, and chase!

September 14 Adult Game Weekend

Let's gather together for fun games in the lodge! Make new friends over a game of Cribbage, Bunco, Bingo, or whatever you prefer! We'll have snacks and prizes, too!

September 19 Third Annual "End of Season" Potluck Lunch

Guests and staff meet in the lodge to reminisce about the great summer we just had! Bring a dish to share and check your activity schedule for exact details.

December 14 Holiday Luncheon

Join us this Saturday for a potluck luncheon in the lodge! In addition to your dish, bring a $10 White Elephant gift (wrapped) if you'd like to participate in the White Elephant gift exchange! Sign up ahead of time for this event in the Welcome Center, please! We'll need a headcount for food and gifts, thanks!

There will be crafting, face painting and Bingo, a BBQ and ice cream, plus much, much more you won't want to miss. Then, enjoy the 4th in Seaside, complete with a parade and fireworks on the beach.

Go on a scavenger hunt then make crafts with your own beach finds! Warm up with a weenie roast at our bonfire.

Enjoy a weekend of cooling down and sweet treats. We will have ice cream, sno-cones and chocolate fondue. Join us for some sweet surprises!

Come out for the pool party of the year. We will have music, a BBQ, karaoke, limbo, hula-hoop contests, and much more.

Don't miss our Second Annual Casino Night. It will be a fun night of snacks and casino games for the adults. The kids can enjoy a game of Candy Bar Bingo and a movie.

August 9 ? 11 Mardi Gras Mystery Weekend

Become a sleuth at our Mardi Gras Mystery Weekend. We will make masquerade masks and Mardi Gras tambourines. Then, throw on your masks, boas, and beads and join us for a murder mystery party Saturday night.

August 16 ? 18 Geocaching Weekend

This weekend is all about finding Seaside treasures. Some of the activities this weekend will include geocaching around the campground, rock painting, and s'mores around the campfire.

August 23 ? 25 All "PAWS" Out Weekend

Welcoming our furry friends this weekend. Grab that leash and join the Pet Parade ? fun treat bag for your pet will be given at the end of the parade. We will also be painting pet rocks, making birdseed ornaments, and clay paw prints. You won't want to miss this fun and furry weekend.

August 30 ? September 2 Seaside Jamboree Weekend/ Member Appreciation

Join us as we close out our summer with lots of fun and long-lasting memories. Bring your instruments and singing voices for a music filled weekend. We will have a BBQ and don't forget free cake for Member Appreciation. There will also be crafts, karaoke, and plenty of ice cream and sno-cones for cooling off.

September 6 ? 8 Wheels N' Waves

Ocean waves, hot rods and custom cars make Seaside the place to be! Join us on Thursday as the cars roar into the campground for your viewing pleasure! Enjoy a BBQ and some music as we "cruise" through the evening.

September 11 ? 14 Pickleball by the Seaside #8

Join us for our Pickleball Tournament. This USAPA scheduled event has become a great tradition at Seaside! All skill levels are welcome. Enjoy a BBQ with the athletes. Karaoke and rackets of fun!

October 18 ? 19 Fall Crafting Weekend

We will be decorating pumpkins, making fall crafts, and sipping on cider. Join us afterwards for free popcorn as we read a book and watch a classic Halloween movie.

October 25 ? 27 Halloween Weekend

Trick-or-treat on the property and then join us for a costume Halloween Party on Saturday. There will be fun activities, food, and prizes.

November 9 Veterans Day

Join us for a spaghetti dinner to honor our vets! Vets eat free! Super Candy Bar Bingo will follow.

November 21 Thanksgiving Feast!

December 7 Tree Decorating Party

Come on over to the Clubhouse for our Annual Tree Decorating Party. Join us as we decorate the tree and sugar cookies, play Christmas music, and write letters to Santa.

December 14 Christmas Crafting Weekend

We will be crafting all day Saturday ? everything from gingerbread houses to cards to stockings and beyond. Hot chocolate, coffee, and tea will be served!

December 21 Christmas Dinner Potluck

Enjoy a Christmas Dinner Potluck. We provide the ham, mashed potatoes, lemonade, and coffee all for a nominal cost ? you bring the sides and desserts.

December 31 New Year's Eve Party

Join other members as we ring in the New Year at Seaside. We will supply the cider and party favors (guestgenerated event.)

Enjoy the SW Washington Fair from August 13-18 at the fairgrounds in Chehalis. At the campground, we'll be putting on our own "fair", so come on down! Brian Wixom joins us to entertain on Saturday evening.

Our massive berry patches are at peak production, so bring your picking buckets! After enjoying our giant slip n' slide on Saturday, come to the Lodge for berry dessert. Mr. Twister will be here to create balloon magic on Saturday.

We'll be wrapping up the season by rolling out our giant slip n' slide on Saturday, followed by a potluck supper and live entertainment in the Lodge. On Sunday, make a tie-dye shirt at crafts. Enjoy free cake and ice cream for Member Appreciation!

October 25 ? 27 Campers Creep-out

Dress up in your favorite creepy costume and join us for treats as we celebrate Halloween! We'll have hot cider, cocoa, s'mores, a scary movie, popcorn, and more on Saturday afternoon.
