All the blessings of the field, all the stores the gardens yield, all the fruits in full supply, ripe-nd ‘neath the summer sky, all that spring with bounteous hand scatters o’er the smiling land, all that liberal autumn pours from its rich o’erflowing stores. These to you, our God, we owe, source from whom all blessings flow; and for these our songs we raise, grateful vows and solemn praise. Come, then, thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home; come to God’s own temple come, raise the song of harvest home.“Bless, God, O My Soul” by Sonafrank II and Morris(Chorus) Bless God, O my soul! All within me bless God’s name! Bless God, who was, and is, and shall ever be the same! When we suffer, God sends healing; when we sin, our God forgives; from the grave our God redeems us, and by grace, we rise to live! (Chorus)With compassion God works justice when oppression shackles truth; like the phoenix, God restores us to the vigor of our youth. (Chorus)God will not be always chiding, nor forever angry be; God will deal with us in mercy, not according to our sin. (Chorus)As a parent’s love is endless, so God’s mercy follows us; for the One who framed our being well recalls that we are dust. (Chorus)God removes all our transgressions far as east is from the west; for the grace of God is great as heaven stands high above the earth! (Chorus) “Give Thanks” by Henry Smith(Chorus) Give thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks to the Holy One; give thanks because he’s given Jesus Christ, His Son. (repeat)(Verse) And now let the weak say, “I am strong,” let the poor say, “I am rich,” because of what the Lord has done for us. And now let the weak say, “I am strong,” let the poor say, “I am rich,” because of what the Lord has done for us. (repeat Chorus 1x)“Great Is Your Faithfulness” by Chisholm and RunyanGreat is your faithfulness, O God, Creator, with you no shadow of turning we see. You do not change, your compassions they fail not; all of your goodness forever will be.(Chorus) Great is your faithfulness! Great is your faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed your hand has provided. Great is your faithfulness, God, unto me!Summer and winter, and spring-time and harvest, sun, moon and stars in their courses above, join with all nature in manifold witness to your great faithfulness, mercy and love. (Chorus)Pardon for sin and a peace so enduring, your own dear presence to cheer and to guide. Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine with ten thousand beside. (Chorus)To all of you,Have a safe and healthy Thanksgiving this week! If any of you in our area are alone for Thanksgiving and do not have a meal, please let me know at the church. Next Sunday we begin our Advent season with Communion. We have an amazing Advent planned – I hope you will join us each week. There will also be additional music and prayer offerings during the season! This has been a year with uncountable loss in so many ways. I suspect we are all suffering from the loss of routine, human touch, connection, to say nothing of the toll Covid-19 has taken on human life. “Blue Christmas” is a service for just such a time… a time for remembering and mourning, a time for honoring our loss and God’s love. This service will be offered beginning December 18th on Facebook, YouTube and our Website: We have decided that we will be hosting Christmas Eve service again on Facebook, YouTube and our Website: It is too risky with the surge of Covid-19 for us to worship in person this year. Be well and hang in there, friends!Peace, Pastor Melanie All hymns and songs are used with permission for print and livestream:Onelicense A-729624; CCLI 11368299; CCLI CSPL161074; Convergence Music Project ................
