Programming: Issue a SIM card (Heather will be instructing on this)
To Insert SIM: Take off back cover with back of phone facing you, push the release button, lift off cover and remove battery.
Slide the SIM cardholder backwards to release it and swing the cardholder up. Insert the SIM card into the holder with the beveled corner to the top left and the golden contacts facing downward.
Close the cardholder and slide it toward the top end of the phone until it locks in place, then replace the battery.
Placing Call: Enter #, Press Green Talk Button

Silence Ringer: On an incoming call, to silence the ringer until the phone is answered, press Silence Button on right side. Press Green Talk Key when you are ready to answer the call.
Ringer Volume: Press Menu 3 1 2 3 and Select
Use right & left scroll key in middle of phone to increase (Right Scroll Key) or decrease (Left Scroll Key) volume, then press Select
(If choosing max volume, screen will ask you “select maximum volume for ringing tone?” and Press OK)
Vibra Call: Press Menu 3 1 2 4 and Select
Highlight On and press Select
Ringing Options: Press Menu 3 1 2 1 and Select
Arrow down to selection (ring, ascending, silent), press Select
NOTE: If vibra call is activated, phone will vibrate when on silent mode. If not activated, phone display light will rapidly blink off & on to show an incoming call.
Earpiece Volume: During a call, press the Right Scroll Key to increase volume
Press the Left Scroll Key to decrease volume
Signal Meter: On display (left side)
Battery Meter: On display (right side)
Set Time: Press Menu 4 2 1 and Select
Arrow down and highlight Set The Time, press Select
Enter in hours & minutes, then press OK
Choose AM or PM, then Select

Set Date: Press Menu 4 2 2 and Select

Memory Locations: 500 name/number memory locations
Saving Memory: You can choose whether you want to save your phone contacts to the phone, SIM card or both. It is defaulted to both. If you want to specify one or the other, Press Contacts Key and arrow down to Settings and press Select
Arrow down to selection you want to use and press Select
Memory # Entry: At an idle display, enter the phone number you wish to store, and press Options Key
Save will be highlighted, press Select
Contact Name appears: Enter name using letters on keypad, press OK
Add Info: To add an email address, street or note to phonebook entry: At an idle display, press Down Scroll Key and go to Contact, press Details
Press Options and arrow down to Add Details

1-Touch Dialing: Press Contacts Key
Arrow down to 1-touch dialing and press Select
Scroll to any empty slot and press Assign Key
Enter phone number (include area code) and press OK
Enter a name using letters on keypad and press OK.
If the name & number are already stored in phone, then after you press Assign, then press Find. Scroll down to number you want to assign to the 1-touch dialing and press select.
NOTE: If 1-touch dialing is off, after you put a number in, the display will say “1-touch dialing off. Activate it now?” Press Yes Key to turn it on
Dialing 1-Touch: To dial a 1-touch number, press and hold Number Key listing
Is in. Phone display will then show “Found” and number that is in that location and will automatically dial #.
Recall Memory #: Press Scroll Down Key to display contacts saved
Arrow down to specific number, press Green Talk Key to call
(NOTE: if you press Details Key-phone number will display)
To find a number quicker, hit key corresponding to first letter of the name to jump to that letter of listings
Erase Memory #: Press Scroll Down Key, arrow down and highlight entry you want to delete.
Press Details, then press Options
Arrow to Delete and press Select
Display will ask you if you want to “delete”? Press OK to delete entry.
Welcome Note: Press Menu 4 4 4 and Select
Enter in welcome message and press Options
Highlight Save and press Select
Battery Info: 4 Hrs. Talk Time, 10 Days Standby Time
8-10 hours on indoor charger for 1st charge. Battery will not reach peak performance until after 2-3 full charging cycles.
After initial charge, charge phone 4 hours when needed
Do not leave on charger longer than 8-10 hours

Voice Recorder: Press Menu 11 2 and Press Select to record message-each message can be 90 seconds in length.
You can listen to your recordings by going into the Recordings
List and pressing Select. Open the recordings file and highlight message you want to hear and press Options
Then highlight Playback and Select
Wallpapers: Press Menu 4 5 1
Scroll to Change Image and press Select to browse Gallery for image.
Highlight Graphics and Press Open
From here you can choose pictures to use as Wallpaper. Press Open. Scroll to Set as Wallpaper and hit Select.
Screen Saver: Press Menu 4 5 4 for timeout settings and press Select
Choose from list the timeout you want or Other allows you to create your own timeout. Press Select to lock in your selection
Color Scheme: Press Menu 4 5 2 and Select
Choose from colors on list (this will change the colors of your text, meter bars, display) by highlighting selection and then press Select to save
Speakerphone: Making A Call: Enter phone number and press Talk
Watch for Loudsp Key to appear on right side of display and press it to put call on speakerphone.
Answering A Call: While phone is still ringing, press Options Key & Loudspeaker will be highlighted, press Select
NOTE: Anytime you are using the speakerphone and want to start using the handset again, press the Handset Key to return to regular operation
Calculator: Press Menu 11 1
Use standard Number Keys
Press * Key to choose +, -, * (multiply), & / (divide)
Press # Key to add a decimal .
Press Options Key and select Equals to total problem
Alarm Clock: Press Menu 5
Enter time you want alarm to go off in hours/minutes and Press OK
Choose AM/PM and press Select
Alarm is now set and active
When alarm goes off, you can choose from Stop Key to turn off or Snooze Key (goes into a 10 minute sleep and sounds again)
Snoozing will show in display if that option is chosen
NOTE: If phone is off, it will power on when alarm goes off and after pressing Stop Key, will ask if you “switch phone on”-yes will keep phone on, no will turn phone back off
Radio: Press Menu 6
Press Options to choose Automatic Tuning. Press scroll button up or down to start search. Press OK when channel is found.
To choose Manual Tuning, Press Options and scroll to manual tuning and press Select. Press scroll button to search in increments of 0.1MHz.
To save the channel, Press Options, scroll to Save Channel and press Select. Enter a name for channel and press OK. Select an empty location to save channel and press Select.
When you place or receive a call, the radio automatically mutes. To turn off radio press Menu 6, press Options, and select Turn Off.
Restore Factory Set: Menu 4 9 and Select
Enter security code (default 12345) and press OK
This will come in handy since people will be playing with settings quite a bit with these phones.
Voice Mail #: To enter voice mail # for speed dialing into voice mail press Menu 1 and Select
Arrow down to Voice Messages and press Select
Arrow down to Voice Mailbox Number and press Select
Put in mobile # (806922xxxx) and press OK
(Press * Key repeatedly to add pauses if mailbox security code is saved also) Ex. 806922xxxxpp#1234p1
Calendar: Press Right Scroll Key
This will display current calendar month with current day shaded.
To add a note for a specific day-Arrow to day you want to make a note for and Press Options Key and arrow down to Make A Note and press Select
Choose one of the Options (ex. Meeting, call, birthday, memo, reminder) and press Select
Here, depending on what you are entering will prompt you to put in a name, number or subject and press Options
Highlight Save and press Select again
NOTE: The display will then walk you through entering information pertaining to the selection you have made (ex. Year of birth, date/time of meetings, etc). Just enter in information and follow through settings till display shows Saved.
NOTE: To go to a date that is not in same month, Go to current calendar, press Options
Arrow down to Go To Date and press Select
Here you can enter the date you want to work in
