Your tablet's wireless network adapter might be able to go 30 Mbps. Your laptop might be able to go 75 Mbps. But that doesn't come close to the full speed.

Keep in mind that Ethernet cables have speed limits too, as do the wired network adapters on your device.
Make sure you're using a cable that's rated for high speeds, and check with your device manufacturer to see what speeds its Ethernet port can handle.
