Training in the Frequency Column which is in bold print is required by the Standard. The term periodic training generally means training that occurs at regular intervals i.e. 1 to 3 years. Annual refresher training is recommended in order to maintain the understanding/skill level required by most performance-based standards. All training must be documented.
