Windows Explorer Project
Using the Windows Explorer complete the following steps;
1. In the folder Data Files Windows XP Project create a new folder, name the folder Public Relations.
2. Copy the following files to the folder Public Relations;
Logo.bmp
Wall.ppt
Schedule.xls
3. In the folder Public Relations create a new Word document, name the document Company Brochure.doc.
4. In the Gear folder create two new folders;
Ropes
Harness
5. Move all of the files that relate to ropes into the Rope folders (make sure that you look through all of the folders).
6. Move all of the files related to Harness in the Harness folder.
7. In the Advanced folder create a new folder and name it Rock.
8. Move all of the .txt files in the advanced folder to the Rock folder.
9. Move the following files into the following folders;
Fuller.txt
Alpine
Yoshiki.TXT
Basic
Reeve.TXT
Basic
Morris.TXT
Basic
Sanchez.TXT
Basic
Beckman.TXT
Rock
Ngo.txt
Alpine - copy
Rock - move
Donaldson.TXT
Ice- copy
Rock - move
Holmes.TXT
Rock- copy
Sport - move
Dupree.TXT
Rock- copy
Sport - move
Chan.TXT
Alpine- copy
Ice- copy
Rock - move
10. In the Clients folder create a Client Information.xls (excel) file.
11. In the Data Files Windows XP Project create a folder name it Advertising.
12. Move the following the Advertising folder;
Logo.BMP
Wall.ppt
13. In the Advertising folder create the following new files;
Clients.xls
Brochure.doc
Presentation.ppt
14. Create a new folder in Data Files Windows XP Project name it Employees.
15. Move the file Schedule.xls to the Employees folder.
