The Working in Early Childhood program is a set of learning materials that introduces the foundational knowledge and skills required to work with young children and their families in a range of early years settings.

Aspects of child development, play and learning, health, safety, nutrition and communication are facilitated through the completion of workplace

based tasks that include the preparation and implementation of regular play activities for young children.
